*Beyoncé*

I was walking quickly and determinedly toward track number ten where the train I had to take to get home was stationed, and which I was at risk of missing if I didn't hurry. I hated taking the train, especially when I was running late like now. It was 4:10 pm, and the train to New York was leaving at 4:15 pm. I was literally running my ass, bumping into a few people along the way without taking the time to apologize.

People didn't really pay attention to me since it was quite common to see people running to catch a train at a station.

It was 4:12 pm when I finally arrived at platform number 10, but of course, I had to be in the wagon number 11, which was all the way at the end otherwise it wouldn't have been funny.

I ran as fast as I could, barely taking the time to breathe between each stride. I didn't even know I was that fast damn. My hair was flying behind me, the cold air contrasting with the temperature of my body, which was heating up more and more due to my run.

When I reached the doors of wagon 11, I didn't slow down, entering directly, and fortunately so, because as soon as I was inside, they closed behind me with a discreet little click.

I struggled to breathe, my legs were hurting and were threatening to give out at any moment. I think it was the first time I had to run so much after a train and I hoped it would be the last. I'm not as young anymore.

Once I regained some semblance of breathing, I decided to go take a sit and was quite surprised to see that the wagon was basically empty, which was rare because all trains heading to New York, regardless of the departure city, were crowded, especially in winter. There was just a bald man in a black suit sitting at the first seat. I was confused because I could swear I saw some people get in the other wagons when I was running so why not in this one ?

Since I had the choice, I decided to sit in the only four-seater to be more comfortable with my laptop. While I was taking my laptop out of my bag, a woman appeared in my field of vision, phone to her ear and visibly angry at whoever she was talking to. A few snippets of conversation reached my ears but not enough to know what it was about unfortunately. But she seemed really annoyed.

I placed my handbag on the empty seat next to me and then turned on my laptop so I can watch a movie or something. I was tired. I had been in Boston since Friday, spending the weekend with my friend I hadn't seen in a long time. We had a great weekend, she showed me around the city and we've done a lot of activities. It was really fun, I needed it.

I didn't know what to watch so I just put 'Devil wears prada' because it's my favorite movie of all time. I connected my headphones to my laptop and before I could put them on my ears I heard someone talking to me.

"Excuse me ?" I looked up from my screen and my gaze fell on the woman who had been on the phone earlier, looking more relaxed than a few minutes ago. And she was fine as hell.

"Yes ?" I replied.

"Do you mind if I sit in front of you ?" She asked, gesturing to the seat with her hand.

The whole wagon was empty but she wanted to sit right in front of me ? She wanted me bad. "No, of course not."

She smiled and that made her even prettier "Thank you very much."

I watched her take a sit directly in front of me. I had the impression I had seen her somewhere before but I couldn't remember exactly where. She was wearing a white dress hidden under a black trench coat and her long straight black hair waved freely over her butt. She was so beautiful that I found myself observing her more than I should until her brown eyes met mine, completely unsettling me. She offered me a slight smile, which I returned willingly. That journey was going to be very long with her just in front of me.
