The place was covered in discolored Fungus and moss, dark shades of brown, grays, faded oranges, blues and greens. It grew from out the gaped door, up the walls covering windows. It was something straight out of one of Lena’s nightmares, that was for sure. “You got ot be fucking kidding me” Ellie scoffed

“We have to go in there?” lena asked eyes wide as she stared up at the building, a lump in her throat/

“Well there's  a way across from the top floor.” tess explained looking down at them.

“Well then I guess it's fine” Ellie said, not happy about having to go into the death trap of a building either.

“We use to take it all the time”

“Okay . . . ?” Lena said “Your grown ass adults. We-” Shye gesture to her, Ellie and her brother “Are not-”

“Hey!” Alaska said

“You're not.” Ellie and Lena said in harmony, receiving scoff from him.

“Look it was fine-” The older woman sighed

“That's just awesome.” Ellie said with a fake smile

“Guys, you’ll be fine” Alaska said, watching Joel.

The man walked over looking at the overgrown fungus, hitting it with the end of his gun. “Its bone dry”

“It would mean there all finally dead in there” Tess added

“Possible, ”Alaska chimed. Joel glanced at him, the younger man sighed and took his gun and flashlight out of his bag.

“Oh man” Ellie said

“Do you have a flashlight in there?”Alaska asked.

“Yeah” Ellie said pulling her bag around digging it out

“Okay, so more ground rules. We're gonna go slowly, If we come up against anything, you get behind us and ya stay there okay?”

“Yes”

“Absolutely” Lena nodded, rolling her lips in

Ellie watched Tess hold her gun in one hand and light in the other. “We have spare hands” she nodded

“Congratulations” Joel said, looking at them. Ellie huffed and looked at Lena who shrugged

“You tried” The other girl said

The building was dark and old and smelled like  the worst kind of death. The group slowly walked through the building coming to a stop when the floor was covered in bodies overgrown by fungus. The skin that was left, pale and colorless, the remains looking fridge yet broken.
