Back At the facility gyozen and other soldiers were set to stand guard and watch over theo while he was being contained in his dome. Currently however due to how inactive he was right now mostly resting and thinking about what to do there was a bit if a relief so gyozen had time to think about life. About where she is gonna go in the future and what she is gonna do Currently, right now her emotions was all over the place and she didn't know whether to feel mad, sad or extremely pisssed off at the world for what it was doing to her.

Gyozen: ... *sighs* .....

Kai: Hey.

Gyozen: hm?

Kai: *holds up a cup of juice* ya want something to drink?

Gyozen: ... *takes it and starts drinking* s-sure...

Kai: hehe, btw I didn't know which flavor you would like the most so I kinda picked a random one. Hope you like it.

Gyozen: *tastes it* .... You picked the best one.

Kai: really-? Ah well, I'm just that good ya know

Gyozen: ... *smiles and chuckles a bit* ...

Kai: ... can I talk to you for a bit?

Gyozen: as long as it pertains to work, then sure. I'll listen to your words.

Kai: .... You know

Gyozen: hm?

Kai: Isn't it strange, Gyozen? We were on a mission to destroy these monsters, but now this one was apparently innocent and uses to be one us that's just...crazy.

Gyozen: Well it depends on how you define 'innocent.' He has caused alot of problems for us tho inadvertently...

Kai: true but...it makes me wonder..

Gyozen: wonder what?

Kai: ... if we're doing the right thing you know? Is killing these creature's really that justifiable? I mean if this one has sapience on the level of us then what about the others you know?

Gyozen: ... kai, you have to realize that at the same time, we're talking about creatures that exist as animals and have instincts and such. Who's to say they have "morals" and "ethics" like us? This theo might be the exception and not the rule at all.

Kai: ... True but then again Who are we to decide that they should be wiped out?

Gyozen: We don't, the higher ups do and we listen to them

Kai: Right, the old men and women are ruling us over....

Gyozen: mhm, besides since we create a large majority of them then as humanity we are responsible for them.

Kai: well... There are those that are completely natural in our world and already exist.

Gyozen: well even if they may be natural, but that doesn't mean they should be left to roam unchecked. We've seen what happens when one of them wakes up in the wrong place. It's chaos, devastation. You're forgetting the bigger picture here, Kai.

Kai: i'm not forgetting. But I am questioning. It's always this battle between preservation and control. Monarch was founded to understand these creatures, not to kill them. When did we lose sight of that?

Gyozen: When they started killing us, Kai. Times change. Monarch was idealistic in the beginning. They thought they could study Titans from a safe distance, but when they started causing mass destruction, the mission changed. Adapt or perish.

Kai: I understand that. But I still think we've crossed a line. Just look at how many of these creatures are imprisoned in containment facilities, tortured and left to starve.. we then treat them like lab rats....It's no wonder some of them lash out.
