Lola's POV

I never thought this day would come. The day I would have to face Aylin and confess the truth that has been eating away at me for the past four years. I can still remember the look on Matt's face when I told him that Aylin had cheated on him. I thought I was inlove with Matt and aanted to ruin his relationship with Aylin. But now, as I stand before Aylin, I realize the damage I have caused.

Tears stream down Aylin's face as I choke out my apology. "I'm so sorry, Aylin. I lied to Matt about you cheating on him. I didn't saw how serious you both were in a relationship and I thought taht I could steal him away from you, but I see now that I only made things worse. Please forgive me."

Aylin's eyes meet mine, filled with pain and betrayal. But to my surprise, she nods slowly. "I accept your apology, Lola. But the damage has been done. You can't take back the hurt you caused."

I hang my head in shame, knowing that I will have to live with the guilt of my actions for the rest of my life. But at least Aylin has found it in her heart to forgive me.

Matt's POV

I can't believe what I'm hearing. Lola lied to me about Aylin cheating on me? The anger and betrayal I feel are overwhelming. I want to lash out, to make her pay for the pain she has caused me. But as I look into Aylin's tear-streaked face, I realize that she is the one who has suffered the most.

I try to control my rage as I turn to Lola, my fists clenched at my sides. "How could you do this to me, Lola? You destroyed my relationship with Aylin, all because of a lie."

My friends try to hold me back, but I struggle against their grip. I want to make Lola pay for what she has done, to make her understand the pain she has caused.

Aylin's POV

I never thought I would have to face Matt again after all these years. The pain of our breakup still lingers, the memories of his accusations and betrayal haunting me. And now, as he stands before me, his anger palpable, I feel a sense of dread wash over me.

But when he tries to attack Lola, I know I have to step in. I remember how I used to calm him down during his anger moments in high school. And so, with trembling hands, I reach out to touch him, hoping to soothe his rage.

To my surprise, Matt's anger dissipates, his eyes softening as he looks at me. "Aylin, please. I need to talk to you. I need to explain."

But I can't bear to hear his excuses, not after all the pain he has caused me. With tears in my eyes, I turn and run, desperate to escape the heartbreak that threatens to consume me once again.

Matt's POV

I can't let Aylin run away from me again. I can't lose her a second time. As I chase after her, my heart pounds in my chest, the fear of losing her forever driving me forward.

"Aylin, wait!" I call out, my voice filled with desperation. "I need to explain. Please, just listen to me."

But Aylin doesn't stop, her pace quickening as she tries to escape my grasp. I know I have hurt her, that my actions have caused her pain beyond measure. And now, as I watch her disappear into the night, I realize that I may have lost her for good.

Aylin's POV

As I run through the dark streets, tears streaming down my face, I can't shake the feeling of betrayal that lingers in my heart. Matt's accusations, Lola's lies, they all swirl around me, threatening to suffocate me with their weight.

But as I hear Matt's voice calling out to me, pleading for me to stop, I know that I can't keep running. I have to face him, to confront the pain that has haunted me for so long.

Turning back, I see Matt standing before me, his eyes filled with regret and sorrow. And as he reaches out to me, his hand trembling, I know that I can't stay angry forever.

"Matt," I whisper, my voice barely above a whisper. "I need time. I need space. But I'm willing to listen."

And as Matt nods, his eyes filled with hope, I know that maybe, just maybe, there is a chance for us to heal the wounds of the past and find a way to move forward together.
