Matt's POV
As I sat in the cockpit of the plane, a sense of happiness washed over me. I couldn't believe that I was finally going to see my son, Kyes. The thought of being able to take him on a plane trip filled me with excitement. But more than that, I was looking forward to seeing Aylin again.
"Are you excited to see Kyes, Matt?" my co-pilot asked, breaking me out of my thoughts.
"More than you can imagine," I replied with a smile. "I've missed him so much."
"Well, I'm sure he's going to be thrilled to see you," my co-pilot said, patting me on the back.
As the plane took off, I couldn't help but feel a sense of freedom and joy. The feeling of flying through the sky was something that always brought me peace. But this time, it was different. This time, I was flying with happiness in my heart.
Aylin's POV
As I watched Kyes play with his toys, my heart ached for him. I knew how much he missed his father, and I wished there was something I could do to ease his pain.
"Mommy, when is Daddy coming home?" Kyes asked, looking up at me with his big, innocent eyes.
"Soon, sweetheart," I replied, trying to keep a smile on my face. "He'll be here before you know it."
But deep down, I couldn't help but feel a sense of apprehension at the thought of seeing Matt again. I had spent years trying to move on from the hurt he had caused me. But now, with Kyes in the picture, I couldn't ignore the fact that he was still a part of our lives.
Matt's POV
As the plane landed, I felt a rush of excitement. I couldn't wait to see Kyes and Aylin again. But as I walked towards them, I couldn't help but feel nervous.
"Hey buddy, I missed you so much," I said, scooping Kyes up into my arms.
"Daddy, I missed you too!" Kyes exclaimed, wrapping his arms around my neck.
And when Aylin smiled at me, I knew that maybe, just maybe, there was hope for us after all.
"Hi Aylin," I said, trying to keep my voice steady. "I'm so sorry for everything. I want to make things right."
Aylin's POV
Seeing Matt with Kyes brought a mix of emotions to the surface. I couldn't deny the fact that Kyes was overjoyed to see his father, and that made me happy. But at the same time, I couldn't ignore the pain that Matt had caused me in the past.
"Matt, I want to believe that you've changed," I said, looking into his eyes. "But I'm scared of getting hurt again."
"I understand, Aylin," Matt replied, taking my hand in his. "I will do everything in my power to make things right. I want to be there for you and Kyes."
As we sat down to talk, I felt a glimmer of hope. Maybe, just maybe, we could find a way to move forward together.
Matt's POV
As I held Aylin's hand and looked into her eyes, I knew that this was where I belonged. I had finally found my happiness, my family.
"I love you, Aylin," I said, feeling a sense of peace wash over me.
"I love you too, Matt," Aylin replied, a smile playing on her lips.
And as we watched Kyes play happily in the park, I knew that I would do everything in my power to make sure that they were always taken care of. Flying the plane with happiness was one thing, but being able to fly through life with Aylin and Kyes by my side was a feeling like no other.
