Aylin's POV
I wake up early to the sound of my alarm clock ringing. I groggily open my eyes and stretch my arms above my head. The sun is just starting to peek through the curtains, casting a warm glow over the room. I roll out of bed and make my way to the bathroom to wash up.
As I splash cold water on my face, I can't help but think about the day ahead. Matt has a flight to Japan and I have to take Kyes to school before heading to work at the preschool. It's going to be a busy day, but I know we can handle it.
I quickly brush my teeth and hop in the shower, letting the warm water cascade over my body. The steam fills the room, enveloping me in a comforting embrace. I wash away the sleepiness and start to feel more awake and alert.
As I dry off and get dressed, I hear Kyes stirring in his room. I walk in to find him rubbing his eyes and yawning. I smile at him and ruffle his hair, telling him it's time to get ready for school. He nods sleepily and follows me to the kitchen for breakfast.
While Kyes eats his cereal, I start to make his lunch for the day. I can hear Matt moving around in the bedroom, getting ready for his flight. I know he has to leave soon, so I give him a quick kiss goodbye before he heads out the door.
After Matt leaves, I finish getting Kyes ready for school. I wash his face and hands, comb his hair, and help him put on his shoes. We walk hand in hand to the preschool where I work, chatting about his day ahead.
Once I drop Kyes off at his classroom, I head to the staff bathroom to freshen up. I look at myself in the mirror and can't help but think about last night. Matt's touch, his kisses, the way he made me feel alive and desired.

I sat in the cockpit of my plane, preparing for my flight to Japan. As I went through my pre-flight checks, my mind wandered back to last night. Aylin and I had been so close to finally being together again, but our son Kyes had interrupted us with his cries. I couldn't help but chuckle at the memory of him being the little cock blocker.
I had been looking forward to this trip for a while now. After my flight to Japan, I would be heading back to Australia and Papua New Guinea, then I would finally be off duty. Maybe this time, I could finally have some alone time with Aylin. I thought about sending Kyes to stay with Aylin's mom, Rosa, so that we could have some time to ourselves.
I had big plans for our reunion. I wanted to take Aylin on a special date by the beach, watching the sunset and maybe even making love under the stars. It had been four years since we had broken up over a stupid lie, and now that we were back together, I was determined to make things right.
As I taxied down the runway and took off into the sky, my mind drifted back to the early days of our relationship. I remembered the passion and intensity we shared, especially in my cube at the boys dormitory. It was risky, but as the Headboy, I was willing to break a few rules for Aylin.
The flight to Japan was smooth, and as I flew over the ocean, I couldn't help but think about Aylin and Kyes waiting for me back home. I missed them both so much, and I couldn't wait to be reunited with them.
As I landed in Japan and prepared for my return flight to Australia, I couldn't shake the feeling of excitement and anticipation. I was finally going to be with Aylin again, and this time, nothing was going to stand in our way.
As I flew back over the ocean towards the South Pacific, I couldn't help but smile to myself. I was finally going to be with the woman I loved, and nothing else mattered. I couldn't wait to see Aylin and Kyes waiting for me at the airport, ready to start our new life together.
As I landed back in Papua New Guinea and taxied to the gate, I couldn't contain my excitement. I practically ran through the airport, eager to see Aylin and Kyes. And as I finally saw them waiting for me, my heart swelled with love and happiness.
I scooped Kyes up in my arms and hugged him tightly, before turning to Aylin and pulling her into a passionate kiss. We were finally together again, and nothing else mattered. I knew that this time, we were going to make it work.
As we drove home, I couldn't stop smiling. I was finally where I belonged, with the woman I loved and our son by my side. And as we walked hand in hand down the beach, watching the sunset, I knew that this was just the beginning of our new life together.
And as we made love under the stars that night, I knew that I had finally found my happy ending. Captain Matthew Delano was finally home.
