Chapter 13: The Dance

Zyx's Pov

My smile widens as Lennox holds my hand as we step into the grand palace. Everyone stared and snickered at us, but I didn't care. Lennox pointed his middle finger at everyone as we entered the main ballroom, causing the room to go silent.

My anxiety set in hard as I made cold eye contact with my disabled father in his wheelchair. He chuckled and yelled as he sped towards us.

" there he is, my only son*laughing*, oh and you brought *another* friend hehe."

he teased me as we interlocked antennas. He turned to Lennox with a stern face, but his gaze eased a bit as Lennox bowed to him out of respect.

"Hm...looks like you've got a gentleman this time, good for you son. come with me the both of you and DJ PLAY THE MUSIC AGAIN"

Me and Lennox held hands anxiously as he brought us to the centre stage with the thrones, his, mine and a new sliver throne.

" This one is yours Lennox, right here."

"This is..for me?"

" I mean you are my son's fiance aren't you?"

Lennox looked at me with his extremely crimson face in shock. I chuckled as I sat us down and smiled at the sight of my people ahead. They seemed peaceful and happy. I was surprisingly happier than I thought I was when I spoke to my father. He smiled wide as I talked about my life Downtown, how me and Lennox got together and so on. He told me that ever since I left, he changed his ways and became a drug dealer instead. Not exactly the most morally correct job but at least he wasn't killing anyone anymore. we waved to him and my stepmother as they went to talk to the other head aliens.

" so..were engaged now? 

" I had to tell him that so you could get a throne next to me. It's comfy isn't it?"

" I can admit, this is nice, being bigger and better than everyone else. watching everyone bow at my feet...even though I already know what that feels like.''

We chuckled as I looked around, noticing Moojin in the crowd.

" hey isn't that your boss?"

" and Loaf...wait why is Loaf here?"

we got up and walked towards them. Loaf was eating an entire tray of snacks while Moojin seemed to be flirting with another elite.

"Ugh Loaf what the fuck man?"

"hm? *coughs* shit...wait.. Lennox what are u doing up here...oh~"

Loaf smiled as they pointed at me and Lennox's intertwined fingers.

"don't even..this party is for the elites so how is a wanted gang member here?"

Loaf swallowed their food and stood by the elite.

"Inos invited us here."

Inos sighed as he bowed to me in guilt.

"Sorry, Your Highness."

"Whatever Inos, just make sure they didn't bring trouble."

Moojin stood up Loaf and said confidently.

" Trust me, Loaf isn't gonna do anything, not while I'm here-"

I nodded and sighed as I looked at Meercow dance flirting with another elite.

"And her?"

Moojin looked over and slapped his head as Loaf's face became cold.

" At least she's having fun, right Loaf?"
