One Time Thing [Zyx x Lennox]

Chapter 17: Sparks

Lora's POV

As I covered Lennox's limp body, the blast pushed us back a little. When i finally opened my eyes, purple stars sparkled around me. I felt a hand slap my face slightly, I looked down and saw Lennox smirking at me, I teared up and held him close. We both chuckled as he carried me up, twirling around. I looked over to the table and saw Zyx getting up, Lennox ran towards him at full speed, he ran and Zyx carried him up bridal style.

"I FUCKING HATE YOU SO MUCH..I HATE YOU" Lennox screamed, hitting him while breaking down, melting into his embrace.

" and I love you... I love you so much."

"never leave me again, dumbass."

They both chuckled and held each other close, sharing a warm and sparkling kiss. Watching them be happy filled my heart, I always wanted them both to be happy, but clearly I missed a few chapters didn't I. io ran towards them and hugged them both, before looking behind them, noticing a magickal spark. I walked to the table and noticed that Axton was missing.  I immediately panicked and told them both.

"maybe because they got infected with the magick, they accidentally teleported themselves somewhere.''

"like where!"

Zyx kneeled to me, smiling as he placed his hand on my forehead, showing Axton on top of our favourite building. I sighed a sigh of relief and hugged them both and ran out of the building, noticing how bright the stars were that night and the moon nearly an orange colour. I used the cat landing tricks we did together to jump from roof to roof, getting closer to our spot. 

I heard singing as I got closer, my heart rate increasing and my face glowing red as I watched her sing to the moon. I slowly crept up on her.

"I always knew you had an amazing voice"

Axton jumped in horror, holding her waist as she laughed at me.

" shut up..when did you get here?"

"I followed the stars, and your voice."

She chuckled as i sat next to her, placing my head on her shoulder, noticing her sharp breathing.

" hey...are you ok?"

"yeah I'm fine...just getting used to the magick that's all"

i interlocked my fingers with her, looking into her distressed eyes.

" you know..now that that's over, i want to quit my job."

"What?"

"i mean, i always have enough to..*whine* to sustain myself in the West"

my concern grew at the sound she made, i kept looking straight at her, kissing her gently. her body moved towards me, our bodies intertwining and her head on my chest. when I wrapped my arm around her waist, I felt her wince and noticed my hand covered in purple ashes and blood.

"Axton...no"

she held me close, kissing my neck trying to calm me down, I held her closer than before, trying not to sob as I felt her body become light.

"you know..that plan we made a few years ago..the one we talked about recently? about moving to the west and having a cottage together. you'd...be making music at a studio or finishing school...and I'd be taking care of my greenhouse."

Axton laid her head on my legs, looking up at the shining stars. I tried to stay calm and smile as I watched her body dissolve into sparks.

"i still wanna do that"

"How..."

"you'll take care of it for me, when you do move, have a greenhouse, with tulips and lilies of the valleys..or just lilies..or maybe marijuana"

i sighed as tears fell, laughing together as the night grew old and the stars and the planets became more visible.

"*humming*"

"Axton.."

"yes dumbass"

I look down at her, placing my forehead on hers, our tails intertwining.

"do you think, we'll meet again in another universe?''

she smiled and sighed, her eyes closing slowly and her lower half becoming transparent

"in every universe, ill always irritate you, and you'll always be a pin in my ass"

"It's a pain in my ass hun"

"means the same shit''

Our laughter filled the night scenery, sparks from her body flowing down below. Loaf and their crew looked up then kneeled down in respect, Zyx and Lennox left the building. noticing the sparks and laughter, Zyx carried Lee as they got onto a hoverbike and rode quickly towards us.

We held each other close as the sparks surrounded us lighting up the sky, residents and friends we knew ran outside to see the sight, some tearing up in shock and others kneeling in respect. No matter how much of her dissolved, her laughter never disappeared. Memories of us filled my head, our adventures fueling my tears and laughter. No matter how hard and intense things got, we still laughed as hard as we were right in the moment. I didn't want her laughter to drift away, i didn't wanna lose her forever but I kept laughing and kissing her face over and over, in this sad moment, she still made me lose my breath laughing like hyenas.

"This is the best way to die ever!"

Her laughter faded as she held me closer, only her arms and head left to dissolve

"I love you Lora, and your stupid laugh"

"... I love you too...Axton"

Howls from dogs, meows from cats and cries filled the sky, Lennox and Zyx ran towards me, still laughing hard as i stood up and looked at the nebula she created above us. they ran to me and hugged me tightly. soon my laughter forced out all my tears as I held onto my fathers for dear life.
