A/N: Heyy guys, so i am so sorry for being inactive again lol. I really like this story and i have big plans for it i just need you all to be patient again i am so sorry again. Anyways i have good reasons for my inactiveness, my mom offed herself, so yeah, if you see me making any bad dead mom and sister jokes please just ignore them. Humor is my comping mechanism and times are tough, i can't seem to catch a break so slay. And i am okay i promise you all, i am woking through it. I am living with my nana, and living life. At least i won't be spending as much money on Christmas this year since we're two people down, lol. Anyways onto the story. Love yall🫶🏻

JOHNNY

It had been a week since i first laid my eyes on Aurora.

It had been a week since the first time those beautiful doe eyes looked into mine.

It had been a week since the first time i was honored to see her beautiful smile.

For the whole week, every time i saw her, was it in the halls on my way between classes, in the cafeteria or anywhere, i would stare at her, i couldn't help it,she was just to mesmerizing, and each time, she caught me and greeted  me with her sunshine smile.

Now it was Monday. I had first been called into Mr. Twomey's office. Where is was instructed to stay away from Shannon. And was also given back my jersey back by her mother, who had then apologized for getting aggressive. I knew she just didn't want to deal with putting her hands on a minor on school property. So i just said okay and left.

In the halls i was standing with Gibsie, whom i wasn't really listening to. Then she walked in, my whole mood changed. She walked into school with her beautiful whole, but next to her was a tall lad. With brown hair, like mine and dark eyes, and most importantly his hand around her shoulder as they walked..and she was giggling. Rage filled inside of me.

Who was this dude?

What was he doing with *my* Aurora.

With his hand on her..

She then caught me staring, and once again i was greeted with a smile. But this time, she started walking towards me, with that guy.

"Hi Johnny" She walked up to me, "Hi Gibs" she turned to my best friend.

I gave her a pleasant smile, my attention then turning to the guy next to her. I eyed him up and down.

He looked back at me. His eyes stern on me. His eyes were looking at me, like he was trying to figure me out.

Who does he think he is?

What's he doing here, he looks older and i've never seen him here before.

"This is Daniel," she introduced the tall guy next to her.

Daniel

What a stupid fucking name.

"..my brother"

"Gibs you may remember him?" she looked at the blonde eejit next to me,  unsure.

Shock flashes through his eyes as he recognizes the guy "Daniel lad!" He smiled and clapped his hand.

Daniel just smiled at him, not saying anything.

Well this was pleasant.

"And this is Johnny" Aurora turned to me, smiling.

"Hey lad" I spoke up first.

"Johnny *Kavanagh*?" He raised an eyebrow at me.

"Uh- yeah" i rubbed the back of my neck.

I then noticed Aurora elbowing her brother to the side lightly, like warning him about something.

That was strange..

"Wait-" Gibs spoke up "Lad aren't you like two years older than us? What are you doing here"

"I'm doing a repeat of fifth and sixth year" Daniel responded, his tone non-chalant.

Well damn..

"Oh" was Gibsies only reply

I look at the guy again, Daniel. He and my bambi were nothing alike. His hair is dark, her's is  a honey blonde, her hair looked so soft, i just wanted to run my hands through it. His eyes were dark like hers, but they were more sharp, nothing like her's. Her eyes are big, deer-like, looking like they were full of life, Daniel's looked somewhat... dead.

"So what class you in?" Gibs spoke up again.

Daniel pulled a piece of paper out of the front pocket of his jeans. "First" he read from the paper.

"Same as us"

The bell rang.

"Well we should head to class" Gibs put his hand on Daniel's shoulder. "C'mon"

Daniel looked down at Aurora and kissed her head, she just smiled in response.

Lucky fucker, i want to do that.

"Bye guys" Aurora said, starting to walk in the opposite direction of us.

"Bye Rors" Gibs yelled over his shoulder

"Bye Aurora" i smiled to myself, but she caught me and smiled right back at me..
