As the Shapeshifter sailed through the vast ocean, the crew members settled in for the journey back to the lagoon. With repairs completed, the crew felt a sense of relief. They knew that with good weather and smooth seas, they would soon be back at the safety and familiarity of the lagoon.

The journey was expected to take another day and a half, a length of time that felt both like an eternity and a blink of an eye.

Unoko sat next to Shane, tending to his scrapes and cuts. She applied some ointment and bandaged his arms, her movements gentle yet efficient.

Shane had worked hard on the repairs, as usual, and his arms had suffered from the manual labor. As Unoko worked on him, he tried to act tough, but couldn't help but wince at the pain.

 "Big baby"

Unoko said, Shane grumbled at Unoko's comment, his pride stung by her words.

"Bloody hell, I ain't a bloody baby,"

he protested, wincing as she applied some antiseptic to a particularly deep cut.

 "Ye, her just bloody"

Unoko replied as Shane grunted in agreement, begrudgingly accepting Unoko's assessment.

"Yeah, fine. I'm just bloody and a big softie," he muttered, his voice laced with a hint of sarcasm. Unoko smiled as she finished bandaging Shane's arms. His wounds were now tended to, and he was good as new.

"There ya go, big softie,"

she teased, poking his bandages gently. Shane nods as he stands up, Shane stood up, wincing a bit as he tested out his arms. The bandages were tight and secure, thanks to Unoko's skilled hands.

"Thanks,"

he said gruffly, rubbing his now patched-up arms.

 "Ya always patching me up."

"Cause yer always getting' ye-self hurt, it's like you enjoy getting treated by me"

Shane's face tinted a light shade of pink at Unoko's words. He tried to deflect with gruffness, but her teasing struck a nerve.

"Ah, shut up,"

he grumbled, avoiding her gaze.

"It's not like I ask to get injured every time."

Unoko lifted her brow, not buying it,Shane huffed at Unoko's skeptical expression. It was true that he had a knack for getting himself injured, and he sometimes found himself enjoying the attention and care she gave him when she treated his wounds. Nikki sighed.

"Yer a weird on, Tsutsuyami, I'll give ye that"

She also stood up, and packed her medic stuff

 "Night"

Shane watched as Unoko packed her medical supplies and stood up, preparing to retire for the night.

"Right, night,"

he said gruffly, his eyes following her as she went.
