Baileys pov
Today is Sophie and i's 1 year anniversary and I'm planning on proposing. I watched Hardy have his first kid last week and it made me wanna marry Sophie even more than I already did.

She went out grocery shopping witch gave me enough time to meet Morgan and Kacey at the jewelry store before she got home.

As I pulled in Sophie called me.

"Can you check the fridge and see if we have milk? I don't wanna buy a gallon when we already have one"

"Yeah, one second"

I scramble trying to remember if we had milk or not. My last memory said no so I picked my phone back up.

"Nope, we're out"

"Ok thank you, I'm gonna go too bass pro after since Morgan's birthday is coming up, I'll get a gift card or something"

"Your welcome, I love you"

"Love you too"
After she hung up i hopped out of my truck and walked in the jewelers with Morgan and Kacey. Kacey was my main person looking around at different things.

I found one ring that completely screamed Sophie. "We should call her best friend Madison, she would know" Morgan suggested.

"Good idea, who has her number" I ask. Kacey called and Madison agreed to keep it a secret. We ended up with the ring and I drove home.

I hid the ring in one of the bz Motorsports trucks and waited for her to get home. "I'm home!" She shouted.
I walked towards the door and grabbed my shoes.

"Let me help you with these groceries" I said walking towards her bronco. "Thanks baby!" She enthusiastically exclaimed opening her car trunk.

Our miscarriage was still a complete secret to everyone but us. Only we knew about it and I wasn't pushing Sophie to tell anyone until she was ready.

After unloading the groceries I texted back and forth with Morgan to see what the proposal would be like.

Morgan:
Soph don't like big expensive things that revolve around her, I'd just tell her we're all going to lunch and do it there.

I agreed and planned a family 'picnic' with Morgan, Kacey, Her parents, and mine. We all arrived and were having a great time.

It was time to pop the question and my hands start to sweat. We walked towards the river and that's where I got on my knee.

Sophie's pov
I'm shocked as I turn around to Bailey holding a ring box in his hand. "Oh my god" I mutter covering my mouth with my hands.

"Sophie Marie Wallen, it's been the best year of my life and I want that to last forever, will you marry me?" He asks.

I nodded my head repeatedly as he slid the ring on my finger. I hugged him tight and Morgan was my picture guy.
I laughed at Morgan attempting to take pictures of us.

"Smile big! You just got engaged!" Morgan teases. I laugh and hug him aswell. My mom was over the moon hugging me tight.

I took a selfie showing off my ring and asked if I should post it. Bailey agreed so I posted it.

"It's so pretty Bailey, you did great picking" i mention. "Madison, Morgan, and Kacey helped too" He adds.
"Morgan? He probably just stood there pretending he was helping" I tease.

"Eh, I ate the free mints on the counter, but that's about it" Morgan mentioned and we all laughed.
"Typical Morgan" I tease.

After arriving back home I still couldn't believe we were engaged. I'm standing at the stove stirring the pan and Bailey is next to me cutting vegetables.

"Pinch me" I suggest holding my arm up. "What?" He asks with a laugh. "Pinch me, I wanna see if I'm really engaged or dreaming" I reply.

"Your not dreaming I promise" He adds. "I got too thinking about it and, I think it's time I tell Morgan about the baby..." I explain.

"Ok, I'll be with you" he replies. "I just don't know how to approach the conversation" I add.
"Well, first I'd tell him you've got something to tell him, and then tell him" He suggests.

I agreed and a couple days later Morgan, Kacey, and Indie were over at our house for supper. I decided this would be the time.

"So Morgan, your probably wondering what I need to tell you.." I start. Morgan's eyes look confused.

"About a month ago I was in a lot of pain and didn't know why so Bailey took me to the hospital, turns out I was pregnant but miscarried the baby on the 6th week, I figured I should tell you about it" I explain.

Kaceys eyes teared up and Morgan looked at me with sadness. "You didn't tell us? Yall didn't have to go through that alone, we would've been there" Morgan replies.

"I know, it was just hard for me to grasp, only you guys know" I add. Kacey reached for my hand and I smiled.
"I'm sorry Sophie, that's such a hard thing to go through" Kacey says.

"Thank you" I reply. Morgan looked at Bailey who was just listening. "And Bailey, I feel for you man, it's scary as hell for us guys too" He mentions.

Bailey nodded in silent thanks and continued eating. After they left we sat down on the couch to hopefully get some wedding planning done.

"Dress shopping is covered, I'm wearing my mamas dress" I mention. "Ok, I'll figure out my groomsmen next week" Bailey adds.

We finished a rough plan and immediately got to work. I was super excited because I'm meeting Baileys whole family today since they're coming to Nash.

I cleaned our guest room for his mom and sat a little care package I made with necessities. I took a shower and started to cook us all supper for tonight.

I'm cooking my mom's casserole recipe when I hear the door. Bailey walked to it and opened it, his family came in and made their way too the kitchen.

I waved and sat my spoon down on the counter. "Sophie! It is amazing to finally meet you in person!" His mom exclaims reaching her arms out for a hug.

"Hey mrs Zimmerman, it's great to meet you too" I reply. His siblings followed with handshakes and hugs.
I smiled as I continued cooking the casserole.

"Can't believe Baileys marrying you" His sister mentions. I giggle as I take the casserole out of the oven.
We all sit down and his mom is telling me his childhood story's.

"And then there was one time when he had this girl" she starts. "Mom" Bailey says in annoyance. I laugh and encourage her to continue.

"He snuck her in through his bedroom window, little did he know i knew about it, he was grounded for a month" She adds. I laughed as he glared at her.

"Wish Morgan was here too spill your secrets" Bailey teases. "Glad he's not" I add. His family seemed to love me witch is good since I'm marrying him.

After about an hour his siblings went to the hotel down the road and His mom went to our guest room.
I laid down, my heart was full of love for his family.

"So, you like them?" He asks, laying next to me. "I love them, your mom is so nice" I reply. "That's good, hopefully my siblings didn't weird you out" he adds.

"I grew up with a weird sibling, there's nothing I can't handle" I joke.
