Sophie's pov
I'm worried about telling Morgan about us but I know I need to. I plan on telling him later tonight.Me and Bailey are backstage and he's holding me in his arms as Morgan performs. "We've gotta tell them soph" he says. "I know, I'm going too" I reply.
Morgan runs off stage and me and Bailey break away from eachother. "What's going on?" He asks.
"What?" I ask. "Oh I don't know maybe why Bailey had you in his arms?" He snaps."I uhm- i-" I stutter. "Are y'all dating?" He asks.
Baileys pov
"Yes, we are" I say. Sophie looks at me nervously. "And how long has this been going on?" He asks.
"Like three weeks or so" Sophie spit out."Three weeks!? And you haven't even bothered to say anything to me? Wow" he snaps, Sophie stands in shock.
"I thought you'd be angry! It's not my fault you have a short temper!" She shouts, I place a comforting hand on her shoulder."Calm down soph" I say holding her arm back from possibly smacking Morgan. "Yeah Soph, listen to your boyfriend" Morgan teases. "Shut up Morgan" she scolds walking out of the room.
I stand in silence with Morgan. "Listen, I ain't mad just, treat her right okay?" He asks, I nod. "Will do" I reply.
Sophie runs back and and hugs Morgan apologizing for keeping it from him.We all forgive eachother and just like that our relationship wasn't a secret.
I walk towards the door to my bus and Sophie follows. "What's up?" I ask as she hugs me from behind. "Just wanted to spend time with you since we don't have to sneak around" she replies I smile as we walk in my bus.
"Perfect" I reply. Sophie decides to take a shower and she catches me off guard by taking her top off completely exposing her top half. I look down at my phone out of respect.
I mess around on my phone until she comes back out and sits next to me. She plays with my hair and kisses my cheek making me blush slightly.
Sophie's pov
Finally, the weight of keeping a secret is off my shoulders and I can finally take a breather.I thought of something that would make me and Morgan both have a good time. Skeet shooting.
Our favorite activity other than baseball growing up, I always shot better than him and it made him angry, but he pitched better than me and I was angry, so it was fair.
I grab my shotgun and shell bag and start to walk to my jeep. Bailey runs behind me and taps my shoulder.
"You goin huntin?" He asks curiously slightly laughing."Skeet shootin with Morgan, truth be known I'm better than him" I reply putting my shotgun in the front seat.
"Mind if I tag along?" He asks, I nod."You got a shotgun?" I ask. "I don't have too shoot I'll just watch" He replies, I shrug. I pull up to the course and hop out with my shotgun.
Morgan greets me and Kacey was there. "Ready to watch me out shoot Morgan Kacey?" I ask. "Don't get cocky" Morgan says I roll my eyes.
We walk towards the first practice station and I shoulder my gun and mapping out the pattern I'd follow.
"Pull" i exclaim. The clay flies in front of me and I follow it with my eyes, I lead it with the barrel of my shotgun pulling the trigger and busting it in the air. I turn my safety on and turn around.
"Impressive" Kacey mutters. "It's just a practice shot, anyone could do it" I reply as Morgan walks up and shoulders his gun also busting the clay.
Bailey watches me absolutely crush Morgan in the next five stations and he is impressed. "I will say it, you've out shot me sis" Morgan says. I laugh.
"There's still three more stations, maybe you can catch up" I tease as we walk towards the next station.
Bailey smiles proudly watching me crush Morgan once again.Morgan accepts defeat and we mess around on a couple more stations. "You shoot at all Bailey?" Morgan asks.
"Just a little" He replies, I smile nudging him towards my shotgun that I stood against the wall."Go ahead man, let's see what you've got" Morgan playfully teases elbowing him. Bailey hesitates for a second and shoulders the gun.
The clay shoots in front of him and he misses by an inch. "That was close man! Give it another go" Morgan exclaims. I smile seeing them get along.
Bailey takes another shot this time nailing it. "See! If you get good you might just make it in the dove field this year!" Morgan teases, Bailey smiles humbly.
As we walk out I side hug Morgan and shit talk a little bit more before hopping in my jeep with Bailey.
"How long have you been doing that?" He asks."My whole life so, it's second nature Y'know?" I reply as we start to drive. "It was badass, you completely out shot Morgan" he says, I smile.
"Well we knew that would happen" I joke making Bailey laugh. We arrive and i out my shotgun away and head to the stage Morgan would be performing on later.
I grab a tea from the fridge and walk outside. The venue was pitch black and hard to see as i walked.
Hardy jumps out from around the corner and i let out a blood curdling scream and swing at him hitting his head with the tea can."Shit! What the hell were you thinking!" I shout Hardy laughs laying on the ground covered in tea.
I hold my chest trying to catch my breath. My heart beats a million miles and hour as I feel a hand on my shoulder. I jump and swing at Morgan who ducks looking confused. "Calm down!" Morgan shouts.
I breath hard and he puts his arm around me into a one armed hug. "What the hell dude, ya almost gave the girl a heart attack" Morgan says, Hardy laughs and walks away.
I'm basically hyperventilating and I'm embarrassed but what can I do. "Are you good? Take slower breaths" Morgan instructs I follow trying to calm down
"Hardy scared the shit out of me" I mumble. Morgan looks genuinely concerned and I feel bad for him.
I start to walk again and Morgan follows me as if he was making sure I was okay.He kinda hovered over me as I walked around. He's always been protective over me since we were kids.

I was about 15 at the time and I found a guy that I'd been messaging for awhile, Morgan was my only form of transportation since I couldn't drive yet and I knew he wouldn't let me go over to this guys house. "Morgan can you drive me to my friends?" I ask hoping Morgan wouldn't ask questions. "I've got a baseball game, she'll have too come with us" He replies i sigh. "But she doesn't even like baseball!" I argue. "No can do soph, either she comes or she doesn't" He replies, i scoff and grab my phone to text him. Turns out he likes baseball and said he'd drive to the game he was 17. I hop in Morgan's truck and my phone buzz's and Morgan looks at the name,
I had him saved as Sarah so Morgan wouldn't get suspicious. "Who's that?" He asks as we pull into the ball park.
"Sarah, a school friend" I reply. We hop out and I see him pull up, Morgan didn't pay attention because of the hustle of the game. I run over and hug him looking back at the field. "Wanna make out behind the guest dugout?" He suggests my desperate teenage self running towards the dugout. We start to make out and I'm praying Morgan doesn't ruin it. "What the actual hell is going on!?" He asks grabbing Dallas by his shirt. I back up watching the scene. "Stay away from Sophie and me, ya hear me you little shit?" He asks, at this point Dallas is shaking on the ground. He darts for his truck and drives off, I angrily stomp to Morgan's truck. I slam the door and stay silent as he hops in. "You ruin everything Y'know?" I shout. "You were making out behind the damn dugout! What did you want me to do stand there and watch?" He asks. I roll my eyes and turn the radio up drowning out his arguments.
***And you wonder why I wouldn't tell him about Bailey...
