Chapter 12- Maa

Abhimanyu turns towards the stairs " Maa....." Anay stood there horrified.Abhimanyu ran to Pallavi and held her in his arms.

" Maa aakhe khole please maa please" Abhimanyu plead. " Anay gaadi nikal jaldi" Abhimanyu says picking her up.

Anay runs towards the garage. " Bhaiyu mai chalati hu, mujhe pata hai hospital kaha hai " Riya says as she was exploring she knew most of the places here know. Anay nodded.

In the hospital

There sat Abhimanyu caressing Anay's and Riya 's head. " Kuch nhi hoga maa ko kyu ro rahe ho dono, mai hu n " Abhimanyu says. Anay just tighten the hug.

The doctor came out. Three of them rushed towards him." Maa kaisi hai doctor? " Riya was the first one to ask.

" Vo hum dekh rahe hai, abhi kuch keh nhi sakte, pehle ye bataiye inki koi history hai? " Doctor questions Abhimanyu.

Abhimanyu horrified from past spoke in loss voice " ji hai, she has been in coma for 5 years and then had post traumatic memory loss ( dekho don't even know if this thing exists bus Jan jao kuch salo ki memory loss ho jati hai jo brain and heart nhi chate ki vo rakhe).

" Okay I will look after it but I want reports as soon as possible" Doctor says before going back.

Abhimanyu calls Kabir.

" Bina bole sun baad me ake sab bataunga, maa ki report mere kamre me hai unhe jaldi se jaldi bhej mere pass aur transport ka intezam kar hum ghar aa rahe hai aaj raat tak, mujhe starting se acchi feeling nhi aa rahi thi jaldi kar Kabir time nhi hai " saying this cuts the call. He knew Kabir won't ask him and understand the situation. In all four of them Kabir was most mindful and smart that was a fact for sure.

Within two hours he got the reports. The doctor took another hour examining reports and checking everything.

" Everything is fine now, she is fine but due to her history I can't confirm whether she will wake up or not because it is the second time her head has been injured. We have to wait for 24 hours if she wakes up then everything is fine and there are chances of memories coming back too but if she doesn't she will slip into a coma for God knows how many years."

" I am taking her back mumbai prepare everything can I ? " Abhimanyu standing up from the chair in the doctor' s cabin says.

" You can if you want but be careful, I don't think she will be able to board a flight" The doctor just completed his sentence only to hear the sound of a helicopter landing on the helipad of the hospital.

" She won't be boarding the flight don't worry" Abhimanyu says leaving the cabin .

Coming out Abhimanyu meant Anay waiting for him.

" Hum ja rahe hai? " He asks.

" Mai ja raha hu Anu, tum aur Riya kal ki fight se ana " Abhimanyu says.

" Aur maa? " Anay asks. " Maa ko sath leke ja raha hu, dyaan se ana mai chalta hu vo agaye hai" Abhimanyu says patting Anay's head.

" Ji bhaiya aap jao mai le aaunga Riya ko " Anay responded.

With that Abhimanyu leaves for Mumbai.

It's been almost 20 hours since their mother has been in bed. Riya has been crying nonstop, Anay tried consoling her but nothing works. Abhimanyu is just sitting near maa holding her hands waiting for her to open her eyes.

" Itne saal hum aapke pass hoke bhi dur rahe hai, phir nhi please aakhe khol do please" Abhimanyu plead.

In the living room, Anay" kitna royegi Riya,tu tuh humari strong bacchi hai n, strong bacche itna nhi rote" .
