Chapter 35- Baba

Anay then kissed Manik's forehead and wished him a good night before falling asleep. Manik was just staring at the ceiling then closed his eyes trying to sleep which he badly failed at.

On the other side in Abhimanyu's Room

When Pallavi enters the room with a milk glass, she finds her sitting on the bed lost in his thoughts. She puts the glass aside and sits next to him shaking him out of his thoughts.

" Kaha khoya hai baccha ? " She asks.

Abhimanyu whose thoughts were disturbed looks by his side to find his mother. He just lays down and puts his head on her lap. Pallavi begins massaging his head.

" Kya hua baccha? Mujhe nhi batayega ? " She again asks.

" Aap log ko dikh nhi Raha hai ya dekh ke bhi andekha kar rahe ho ? " Abhimanyu asks with his eyes closed.

Pallavi knew what her son was talking about, and how she can't. Manik was her own child she can't tolerate this behaviour against him.

" Dikh raha hai Abhi, aur mai andekha nhi kar rahi " She says.

Abhimanyu opens his eyes looks at her's and says," aap kuch kar bhi tuh nhi rahi maa".

" Tujhe lagta hai koi maa aapne bete ke khilaaf kuch seh sakti hai " Pallavi asks.

Abhimanyu shakes his head in denial." Phir mai kyu sahungi baccha, mai baat karne ja rahi thi maa se papa ne rok liya, kaha pehle vo baat karna chahte hai, mai tuh kud soch rahi hu ki vo Aisa kyu behave kar rahi hai "Pallavi says.

" Mujhe bhi nhi samjh aaraha maa, nanu tuh hum sab ke sath bade acche se behave karti hai, kitna pyaar bhi karti hai phir ye Manik ke sath bed bhav kyu" Abhimanyu asks.

" Ye tuh puchne per hi pata chalega n, aaj papa baat kar rahe hai ager sab thik ho jata hai tuh thik, nhi tuh mai dekhti hu " Pallavi says. She knows that she won't like to go against her own mother but it was for her own son. Even if she has to fight with God for her son she would.

"Mujhe bus mera mannu chahiye vahi 3 saal vala, syd vo tuh nhi milega " Abhimanyu says remembering the past.

" Mera baccha kitna badal gaya hai" Pallavi says.

" Hey mannu, icecream khaayega? " Abhimanyu asks to the siting 3 years old Manik.

Manik shakes his head in denial.

" Tuh chal sath me khelte hai , bata kya khele? " Abhimanyu asks trying to make the little one happy.

Manik crossed his head on his chest and huffed then angrily looks at Abhimanyu stating ," manlu ni tel raha aape sath, baba bad boy manlu dolt play wilth bad boys ".

" Mannu baccha baba is sorry for being late " Abhimanyu says holding his ears.

" No, go play wilth youl frlends " Manik says with a pout.

The thing was Manik was waiting for Abhimanyu to return for school so that he could play with his baba but his baba come home 2 hrs late and even didn't inform him that he would be late.

" Baba is sorry mannu, see I holding my ears, I am sorry Jaan " Abhimanyu says.

On the way back Abhimanyu met his primary school friend who dragged him to his home with him to spend time that's the reason of being late.
