Jungkook was always told the Kims were no good, people that didn't follow a moral code. His family and theirs had been at war with each other for as long as he can remember, long before he was born.
"Don't even think about it Jungkook!!! Are you crazy???"
"Yes" it was a simple answer, one he believed fully. Nobody who grew up how he did would have a sane mind.
He was born not out of love but as an assurance policy, a way to receive an inheritance. His parent's marriage was a business deal, their greed for power and money entered them into an agreement. Jungkook's paternal grandfather was a powerful man, he held importance and many bowed down to him. A stipulation for the elder Jeons entire empire to be passed down was a grandchild. Jungkook's father was fast to marry, didn't care who it was as long as he inherited everything.
Therefore Jungkook's birth was a business deal between his parents. They didn't care for him, or love him. They didn't give him a childhood full of unconditional joy. His father busied himself with his business and money while his mother would rather spend her time at lavish parties or traveling. His grandfather was the only one who gave him the care and attention he needed, but that had an expiration date. He passed away when Jungkook was only eight.
There was one thing that his parents did have in common, the only thing that the two could agree on other than their greed for money and power.
Their hatred towards the Kims.
Jungkook wasn't sure where it stemmed from. As long as he could remember it was the one thing his parents did teach him, to hate the Kims. Only, he didn't listen.
"Jungkook, are you serious?!! That's Kim Taehyung!!" Jimin yanked him back by his arm, forcing him to look away from the dark aura from across the floor. "You're parents will kill you, they'll kill me for allowing it"
