As they walked side by side down the bustling street, the warmth of the sun wrapped around them like a soft embrace. Y/N stole glances at Namjoon, feeling the thrill of their earlier conversation still buzzing between them. They could sense the unspoken connection lingering, waiting for the right moment to unfold.

Namjoon kept glancing at Y/N, his expression thoughtful, almost as if he were weighing his next words carefully. The lively chatter of people around them faded into the background as they approached a small park, the inviting greenery beckoning them to sit and continue their conversation.

"Want to take a break here?" Namjoon suggested, gesturing toward a bench beneath a sprawling oak tree.

"Sure," Y/N replied, feeling a flutter of excitement as they took a seat. The shade provided a cool respite, and they settled into a comfortable silence for a moment, watching the world go by.

Y/N took a deep breath, the weight of everything still lingering in their chest. "So, about what we talked about earlier..."

"Yeah?" Namjoon turned to face them, his eyes bright with curiosity.

"Do you think we're ready to explore this... whatever this is?" Y/N asked, their heart racing. "I mean, I've never really been in a situation like this before."

Namjoon hesitated, running a hand through his hair. "I think we are. But I also don't want to rush things. I want it to feel right for both of us."

Y/N nodded, understanding. They appreciated his cautious nature; it made them feel safe. But as they talked, the space between them felt charged, a silent invitation lingering in the air.

Feeling bold, Y/N leaned slightly closer. "You know, I'm really glad we're having this conversation. It feels good to be honest with each other."

Namjoon's gaze dropped for a moment, then he looked back up, vulnerability shining through. "I'm glad too. You mean so much to me, Y/N. It's hard not to think about holding your hand right now."

Y/N's heart skipped a beat. "You can, if you want," they offered, their voice barely above a whisper, the tension in the air palpable.

Namjoon hesitated, his expression a mix of longing and uncertainty. He looked down at their hands resting on their knees, then back to Y/N's eyes, searching for reassurance.

"Are you sure?" he asked, his voice soft but filled with intensity. "I don't want to make you uncomfortable."

"I'm sure," Y/N said, the warmth spreading through them. "I really want you to."

With a deep breath, Namjoon slowly reached out, his hand trembling slightly as it hovered above Y/N's. Just as he was about to make contact, he paused again, a flicker of doubt crossing his face.

"Namjoon, it's okay," Y/N encouraged, their heart racing with anticipation. "I want this. I want you."

At that, Namjoon's expression shifted, determination breaking through the uncertainty. He closed the distance, gently wrapping his fingers around Y/N's, their palms fitting together perfectly. The moment felt electric, as if a current had passed between them.

"I've wanted to do this for so long," he admitted, his voice a mixture of awe and happiness. "I just didn't know how to start."

Y/N squeezed his hand, warmth flooding through them. "You're doing great. I'm really happy right now."

Namjoon smiled, a genuine smile that lit up his face, and Y/N couldn't help but mirror it. They sat together, hands intertwined.
