Time Flies

Time so precious in our life but we tend to waste it on the little things we do. Things like sitting idly, staring into space, worrying about what the next person thinks of you or not, worrying about what the next person thinks of you not, worrying about impressing people, especially friends when in actual fact it should be you, gossiping about people like our lives depend upon it, wondering if the opposite sex likes you as much you do or sleeping all day.Time wasted on these kinds of things could have been used to do something productive, things we say could've, should've or will do.

Time makes us feel wistful because we might have lost something or someone precious we cannot get back no matter how much we wish for it, whether it was someone who died or someone we lost because we acted foolishly. Sometimes we would give anything or do anything just to go back in time whether it was a few seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months or even years to take back what you've said to that person or to say something you should've but didn't.

At times we waste time lingering on the thought of 'I wish I could' when we can just go ahead and do it when the opportunity comes along. Why waste an opportunity when it might never come along? The case is similar with 'I will do it tomorrow'. What if tomorrow never comes? What if today was your only chance? Or what if you keep saying "tomorrow" and just waste each one? Sometimes you let an opportunity slip away because you were perhaps shy, afraid, lazy, tired or because you lacked the courage to do it. So why not stop with the what ifs and if nots and just go ahead and do it? Because if you don't use the opportunity now you might regret it. But come to think of it there is nothing like regret to make you realise your mistakes. Besides, mistakes are what makes us who we will become. Mistakes makes us become better people because we try our hardest not to repeat them.

A question to ponder upon is what if tomorrow never comes? This is another thing not to waste time on but to be hopeful and pray that it does come. If the next dawn breaks we should use it as best as we can and do or say what we should've but didn't yesterday, or to put a smile one someone's face which in turn will do the same for you, or just to make life a little better and easier for yourself or the next person.

The next day in our lives is another chance to make a fresh start, to blot out our mistakes, to live a little better. What we do and how much of it we use might even determine who or what you'll become or might just determine the rest of your life. We should never give up in despair but only be hopeful for the next day to start anew. We should remember to use each day as best we can or be the best you can be in that very moment because as swift as time is, it waits for no one and once lost never can be recovered.

Thank goodness gracious i'm done. I wouldn't have written the second part of this book because I got so discouraged. Actually I almost deleted the book and to think it was only the first part. I only continued because I saw that I have 7 followers not on the book though. But gosh! For me its a big achievement. It actually made my day. Thanks to my 7th follower, Geekysilouettes. Hope i got the name right. Anyway, about my promise almost a week ago. And no, I'm not shying away from admitting it. I know I failed to keep it. Gosh I suck. So this time around I will keep my promise of updating once a week even if I have to force myself which I shouldn't actually. Gosh I talk to much. Hehehe :-)

Yours
