Sarah and Rachel had been on the run for weeks, pursued by the cultists who sought to capture them for reasons unknown. They had fought back, using their skills in hand-to-hand combat and magic to fend off their attackers, but the cultists were relentless, their numbers seemingly endless. For every one they struck down, two more seemed to take their place.

Sarah felt her strength waning, the fear of failure clawing at her mind. She could see the doubt creeping into Rachel's eyes as well, mirroring her own inner turmoil.

The cultists closing in on all sides, Sarah's mind raced for a solution.

She knew they could not keep running forever, that eventually they would be overwhelmed by the sheer number of their enemies. But she refused to give up, refused to let fear dictate their fate.
