Johanna's POV:
Today was fun. We joked around and ran everywhere.
I think there might be some romance in between Willow and Finn, but that's not my problem.
Finn and Maica look like they've known each other for years. Just like the relationship I had with Finnick. Oh, I miss him. I bet Annie does, too. Of course she does, it was her husband.
All of us our sitting in the living room waiting for the Quarter Quell Request. Katniss and Peeta on the loveseat, Annie and I on the small couch, Maica and Rye on the big couch sitting next to each other, and the lovebirds, Willow and Finn, on the floor cuddling against each other.
The Capitol anthem plays and that gets our attention. There stands President Paylor with a gold box in front of her. She starts out with saying how we had the war with the Rebels against the Capitol and blah, blah blah, and blah blah blah.
Finally, she gets to the good stuff. The Quell Request. About time.
"Tonight we are brought here to announce the 4th and final Quarter Quell." Paylor says.
"Now for the Envelope Opening Ceremony." She says.
"On the one-hundredth anniversary, as a reminder to the victors that even the strongest of them, can be torn apart; the male and female tributes will be reaped from the existing victors' family tree." Paylor says emotionless.
Maica and I are the only ones who clearly figure this out because all the others have looks of confusion on their faces. Maica and I pull into a big hug and start bursting into tears.
Katniss and Annie finally figure out what this means and goes to their children, crying.
Peeta stays there not knowing what happened.
"Seriously, Peeta!" I yell at him. He looks shocked.
"YOU DONT GET WHAT PAYLOR JUST SAID!!!! SHE JUST SAID THAT THE TRIBUTES ARE GOING TO BE FROM THE EXISTING VICTORS' FAMILY TREE. THAT MEANS YOUR FAMILY, TOO!" I scream at him. He soaks in the words and runs towards his family.
The kids got the announcement before Peeta did and it made him look like he didn't care about them.
Stupid move, Peeta. Stupid move.
