Saransh's pov...
I looked up from my laptop and saw Meera sleeping peacefully curled up like a cat in winters.
She was sad and happy at the same time when Aarvi got discharged yesterday evening. Aarvi too was sad to leave Meera and go.
It took me a complete two hours to make her understand with soothing words that we can't keep aarvi with us for forever.
She got attached to Aarvi in no time and they had a great time at the hospital. I clicked many candid pictures of us together.
Aarvi was sad to leave Meera.
But life has to go on.
Not everything works according to our wishes. Does it?
From time to time everyone comes to see Meera and mostly she is always tired or sleeping. Everyone is worried about Meera. We don't know what the next day holds for us.
And about me? I didn't go home for the last three days and I didn't leave her side even for a second except when doctors asked me to Leave the cabin to do her checkups.
A few hours later I closed my laptop and packed her stuff in a bag. Completing the discharge procedure I came back to the cabin to find Seema entering the cabin.
"I'll keep this in the car you bring her because i don't think we can wake her up" Seema said eyeing sleeping Meera. I nodded at her.
She took the bag from my hands and left to keep them in the car. I tried waking Meera up but because of high power medicines she is under the effect of sedatives.
Sighing, i picked her up in my arms bridal style. And she snuggled in my neck hiding herself completely, still sleeping. I can feel her heavy breathing on my neck. And it took me thousands of cursing to stop myself from doing something inappropriate.
She will be the death of me one day.
I controlled myself and walked to the exit where Seema was waiting in the passenger seat with the driver on the gate.
Everyone was looking at me. Some with admiration in their eyes, Some were gossiping about me, And some were just staring at me. I ignored all of them and walked proudly with Meera in my arms.
Seema came and opened the door for to me to get inside with Meera. Once we were settled, our car reversed and went off to our destination,
wedding hall.
When we reached our destination, i called Meera to wake her up. This time she woke up and came out of the car.
"What's going on?" She asked confused looking at her surroundings.
The front of the hall was decorated with yellow and purple flowers. Curtains were hanging on the pillars. Yellow and red flowers were spread on the path which reached the place where two seats were placed and in front of the seats were kept two big Bowl of haldi paste decorated with rose petals.
"You forgot? Today is your haldi?" Seema said to Meera. I too frowned but then I was amused.
"Ohh. Thank God it's a dream. Otherwise I would have freaked out knowing today is my haldi-.." Seema cut her off and said. I smiled realising that She must be dreaming about our wedding.
"What? This isn't a dream idiot" Seema lightly slapped on her hand and realisation hits Meera.
"Whhaaattttt?" Meera said and covered her mouth to muffle her gasp. We all laughed at her antics and she got embarrassed about her behaviour.
