Author's pov...

She looked sick.

"Meer..."

No response.

"Meer..."

Again no response.

Fear started to crawl on his body and he tried to shook Meera. Hoping to get some response from her.

"Meer..you are scaring me. Please wake up."

He tried calling her again but no response. He took Meera in his embrace and tried shaking her but his all efforts went in vain.

She wasn't responding.

He was panicking seeing her in these state and called for his parents.

His parents rushed towards his room but before they can reach there saransh came out carring Meera in his arms.

She was hanging lifeless in his arms. Her neetly draped saree was now mess. Her bleeding nose was smudged over her cheeks.

His mom helped him place Meera in the backseat and his dad started driving. Without wasting any second he reversed the car towards the hospital.

Saransh's dad informed Dhruv about Meera's condition and his mom was wiping her bleeding nose. Saransh was brushing her hair and trying to wake her up.

Within few minutes they reached hospital, and Dhruv was waiting for them on the main gate with stretcher.

As soon as they reached hospital Saransh placed Meera on stretcher and ward boys took her to the emergency ward.

Saransh's shirt has Meera's blood stains and his face was covered with sweats. Dhruv patted his shoulder assuring him brotherly and went back to look after Meera.

Dr. Knight too came rushing to the hospital and directly went to examine Meera.

Few minutes later Dhruv and Dr knight came out of her ward with tense expression.

Saransh sauntered towards them to know about her condition.

"Her breathing became normal for now, and bleeding stopped too. But we have to perform surgery as soon as we can" hearing this tears slipped from his mom's eyes. Saransh stood there frozen. He wasn't able to process anything.

Meera's parents reached hospital followed by Rishabh Seema and Nisha. Seema went near Saransh's mom to comfort her. And Nisha stayed with Meera's mom.

"Let's talk in my cabin" Dhruv asked Saransh and he went with him followed by Rishabh, Saransh's dad and his Father in law.

Twenty minutes later everyone came out of Dhruv's cabin leaving Saransh alone to battle with the most dangerous decision of his life.

Saransh kept staring the white paper, where words of his destruction were inked. It was informed consent form.

That means patient's family knows about the critical condition of patient. It was clearly mentioned that patient's chances of survival is 22% and risk of failing the operation is high. That means, patient's family knew consequences of surgery and if something happened to the patient during the surgery, hospital won't be responsible for this.

He couldn't get himself together to sign that papers. Signing that paper means getting 95 percent close to loose Meera.

He can see glimpse of Meera smiling at him in that papers. That tore his heart into millions of pieces.
