I let Garrick lead me onto the dance floor. Once there he pulls me forward so that I am facing him. I place my left hand on his shoulder, and my right hand into his hand. I take a deep breath in, and let it out slowly, making sure to release the tension from my body. I let the familiar feeling of dance wash over me. I look up to Garrick, and give him a small nod letting him know that I am ready. I let him lead me into the dance.

After a handful of seconds I speak breaking the silence "You are an excellent dancer".

"You sound surprised. Do you not think a person of my caliber is able to be an excellent dancer" Garrick says with a smirk.

"I uh, uh, uh" I sputter unsure of how to respond. After a couple of seconds of watching me struggle, I watch as a smile breaks across his face. I scoff, and lightly slap him across the shoulder. "Your mean" I pout.

Garrick pulls his head back, and releases a deep throaty laugh. When he finally calms down enough we look at each other, and smile. I lean forward a little, and incline my head letting him know I would like him to lean down, to which he obliges. I put my mouth near his ear "Forgive me if I am too forward, but" I lean back to look at his face. He gives me a small nod, letting me know I can continue "But, does it not feel a little too crowded in here, or is it just me" I let out a small laugh, and lean my head back.

I watch as what I can only describe as lust flashes in his eyes. "You are not the only one my dear Alana. Would you like to get some fresh air" he asks.

I smile "I would love nothing more, Commander" I respond. Letting my voice get husky. He takes my hand in his, and guides me towards the back of the ballroom, towards the back entrance.I make sure to lift the skirts of my dress up, so that I would not trip. He quickly looks around us for anyone watching. After double checking he smirks down at me, and opens the door guiding me through it first, and following swiftly behind me, and closing the door with a soft click.

He tugs me along behind him, I let out as real as a giggle that I could muster. After What felt like a manner of minutes Garrick tugged me up against his chest, and smiled down at me before placing a kiss on my cheek. surprised by the action I asked "What was that for?". Not bothering to respond he buries his head in between my shoulder, and neck taking in a deep inhale of my scent. I gasped "Garrick, not in the hall". I pulled his head away from me. I bit my lower lip, and looked into his eyes "Take me somewhere private, Commander".

Garrick reached his hand behind me. I furrowed my brows confused by the action until I heard the click of a door opening. Garrick began walking towards me causing me to take steps back. We continued this until we were fully in the room. He shut the door behind him. I watched as his eyes flicked from me to something behind me. Garrick wrapped his hands around my waist, and slowly turned me around.

I gasp, and bring my hand to my mouth. It was a library. I stepped forward out of his grip, and slowly turned around. Shelves lined with row after row of books covered every wall. There were ladders on each wall to help you to reach shelves that were higher up. In the middle where several sofas, and coffee tables.

When I finally faced Garrick again I had the biggest grin "It's beautiful" I said softly.

Garrick Chuckled "I figured you would like it" He responded. I quickly rushed forward, and grabbed his hand. Bringing him over to the sofas. I pushed on his shoulders, causing him to fall back onto it. I placed my legs on both sides of his thighs, straddling him. He placed his hands on my waist, and pulled me closer to him, causing me to gasp. I wrapped my left arm around his neck.

I smiled down at him before bringing his face to the crook of my neck. As he placed kiss after kiss on my neck, I slowly brought my right hand under my dress, making sure to not disturb him. Once I started to feel the handle of my knife, I wrapped my hand over it, and pulled it out. I placed my right hand with the knife behind his head.

Pulling his neck so we were looking at each other. I brought my face close to his. Close enough to where I could feel his breath. As softly as I could I spoke "This is for Petra".

Garrick looked at me with confusion "Wha" before he could finish speaking I slashed my knife across his throat, making sure that it cut deep so there would be no chance of surviving.

I quickly jumped off his lap, and watched as he clawed at his throat trying to stop the bleeding. After a couple of seconds his eyes dimmed, and he fell limp against the sofa. I whipped the blood off my dagger onto the front of his shirt, and placed it back in its sheath. Backing away from him I looked down at my dress for any trace of blood. Finding none, I internally patted myself on the back for deciding to wear a dress the perfect shade of red.

I grab my phone out of my clutch quickly, and quickly send out a text to my boss.

ME: Hey, Boss

BOSS: What!? Is it done?

ME: Yes.

BOSS: Good. Return to base, I have more we must go over when you get back.

ME: Will do. (Thumbs up emoji)

I place my phone back into my clutch.

I walked to the door, turned the handle, and peeked my head out, turning it left to right, making sure there was no one in the hall. I stepped out of the room, and started back down to the ballroom, smiling to myself for ridding this world of another pest.
