YOU MIGHT BE WONDERING, "WHY DID HE AGREE TO THIS?". the answer is simple, he already saved up enough money to send eight kids to university and grad school if he wanted to.
suna isn't materialistic. sure, he owned a few designer pieces, but he didn't care for that. and with his lack of spending, he could be a billionaire by 30 if he kept this frugal life up.
but meeting y/n, something in him snapped. she was intoxicating to say the least. something about her wanted him to just spill his wallet and buy her whatever she wanted.
this only left one question in suna's mind. had she done this with others?
suna snapped out of his gaze when y/n stepped out of the dressing room. "so?" y/n asked, doing a little spin. suna's eyes ran over her figure, adorned in a short silk dress, tight enough in all the right places.
"it's cute. buy it" suna said, nodding in approval. "aw, thanks rinnie" she blew a kiss and went back in the change room.
"sir, is there anything that's of interest to you?" the sales associate asked, coming up to him. "no" he said, putting his phone down. "well, if you're here with miss l/n how about i show you some jewelry she may like?"
"actually. i'd like to check out some of the watches if that's okay" suna gave the associate a light smile. "of course, sir. this way" she said.
suna stood up and followed the woman to the watches. "here we have a limited edition watch. it's been on the market for about a month. it's silver all around and the numbers are diamond. of course, there's 20 carat stones all over the exterior of the watch. it goes for about a million yen"
"its a nice watch. you should get it" y/n said, now standing beside him. "i see you're treating my man well, aikko" y/n smiled, wrapping her arm around sunas bicep. "of course," she turned back to suna and smiled. "what will it be?"
rintaro didn't often splurge on himself since he wasn't materialistic. but he was in need of a new watch. "i'll get it"
"perfect! i'll get it all wrapped up for you" the lady smiled.
after the pair checked out, suna took the bags while they walked around the mall some more. "can we go into cartier? pleaseeee" the girl begged as she looked at the display jewelry in the window.
"as you wish" he sighed.
he had already spent an absurd amount of money, and most of it was on his new watch. funny enough, y/n hadn't bought that many new things off of suna's card.
she only bought a few dresses, makeup, and other items of clothing.
"good afternoon ms l/n. we are pleased to see you again. would you like any refreshments?" the associate asked, taking the bags in suna's hands. "oh, i can hold these. it's no problem" he gave the lady a kind smile. "nonsense. at least let me set them down for you" she said.
he nodded and handed the bags to the security guard standing next to her.
"just some water please. i am quite parched" y/n smiled.
despite knowing her for a mere twenty four hours, he was shocked that she spoke so eloquently. "of course"
it finally settled in that he had only known her for twenty four hours. this was absurd if nothing romantic came out of this situationship. not only had he been doing this for himself, but for his parents and friends.
suna wanted to show them that he was capable of settling down.
"hikari sent me a text earlier saying that the rose gold love bracelet was in stock? do you mind if i try it on?" y/n asked as we walked to the jewelry table.
she seemed to know these designer stores inside out, it was a like a talent really. how much does one have to spend in order to know every store by the back of their hand?
"i'm gonna buy this one myself" y/n tugged on the sleeve of suna's sweater. "you sure?" he raised an eyebrow. "i'm sure" she smiled.
after y/n bought her new piece of jewelry the two decided to wrap up their mall trip and head home. "it's nice out. do you want me to put the roof down?" he asked.
the girl nodded and suna pressed the button. y/n watched the roof go back in amazement. "gosh, the air feels so nice" y/n smiled, taking a deep breath.
while the two drove, y/n glanced at suna a few times, admiring his features. she couldn't deny that he was unbelievably attractive, charming, and charismatic. something about her didn't want it to just be an arrangement to make their families happy.
she genuinely enjoyed his company.
