"Y/N YOU SIT THERE, AND THEN WHEN RINTARO COMES HE CAN SIT NEXT TO YOU" y/n's mother instructed. the girl sighed and sat at the end of the round table. "did you have to wear something so... revealing?" her father asked, raising his eyebrow.

"mom was the one that picked it out. if you're going to blame anyone, let it be her" i muttered, putting my bag behind me. "oh shush honey, she has to attract rintaro somehow" mrs l/n rolled her eyes.

"sorry we're late! there was crazy traffic" mrs suna said, kissing y/n's mothers cheek. "no worries, we just got here too" mrs l/n reassured. "y/n, give him a hug" her mother whispered.

reluctantly, y/n stood up and greeted rintaro. "hey" she said, giving him a small side hug. "you good?" he asked, "you look nervous" he finished. rintaro's eyes trailed over y/n's body, noticing the revealing dress.

mrs l/n smirked. her plan was just starting to take off.

rintaro and y/n both took a seat, making light conversation as they both looked through the appetizers.

"how was your day?" he asked glancing at y/n. as beautiful as she was his eyes kept going down to her cleavage. "my eyes are up here. my day was fine. how was yours?" she replied. "my day was good. just practice, nothing out of the ordinary"

"what're you gonna get?" y/n asked, skimming through the variety of dishes. "probably lamb. you?" he asked. "steak. or chicken, i'm not sure yet" she replied.

it was quiet for longer than either of them would've liked. it was evident that the alcohol made them bother bolder than they actually were that night.

y/n quietly sipped on her wine, listening to the parents converse. "so, rintaro, how's volleyball going?" y/n's mom asked. "we're having a good season this year i think" he replied nodding his head. "that's wonderful! we must get tickets to one of your upcoming games" mr l/n smiled.

the appetizers finally arrived, which seemed to cut the tension between the two. "you not into caviar?" y/n asked rintaro, who was obviously avoiding it. "yeah, i'm not a big fan of the fishy taste" he replied, eating calamari.

"here try this" y/n said, putting a different type of caviar onto a blini. "what's the difference between that and the other one?" he asked, eyes darting between the two. "one has a fishy taste and one doesn't"

"you sure this doesn't taste fishy?" he asked, bringing it up to his nose to smell. "that's what i just said didn't i?" y/n giggled. rintaro shrugged his shoulders and put it into his mouth.

a few seconds later he smiled, "this is actually... good" he said. "see? i told you! here have another one" y/n smiled back, preparing another caviar blini. "i'm surprised i haven't tried this sooner" he took a sip of his wine.

"i find that a lot of people our age like the non fishy stuff better. or at least everyone i'm around likes this stuff better" she said, handing him another blini. "huh. interesting. i didn't know you were the caviar expert" he joked.

"i know you're joking but i will be taking that as a compliment" she rolled her eyes.

both sets of parents paused their conversations to look at their kids smiling with each other. "they're just beautiful together, don't you agree? i bet when kids are in the equation they'll be equally as beautiful" mrs suna sighed. "we did a good job, ayaka" y/n's mom smiled.

"you mean we did a good job" mr l/n rolled his eyes. "if it weren't for me founding this company and him being my cfo they never would've met" he said. "yeah, yeah, thanks for all of your hard work honey" she patted his arm.

after their appetizers their entrees came out. "the guys are going to casa amore later tonight. you wanna come?" rintaro asked. "like the twins?" she asked.

"yeah and the other msby boys. they're leaving tomorrow morning and wanna spend the night partying" he replied. "sounds fun. i'd have to go home and change after this though."

"sounds good, i can send a car or pick you up myself"
