SUNA KNOCKED ON REIKIS DOOR so hard one might think the door would've broken off. after what felt like ages to suna, the door finally opened revealing reiki standing there with a smile.
"hey rin!" she said, welcoming him inside her home. "hey. listen, we have to talk" he said, with a tone of seriousness in his voice that made reiki nervous.
"yeah, sure. what's up? isn't it so great that we're exposed to the internet now? now we don't need to hide our relationship!" she giggled, sitting down on the couch. "yeah... about that" he trailed off.
"we need to end whatever this is, now. my parents found out and-" suna was about to continue when reiki cut him off. "really? that's so great! maybe we should plan a lunch so i can meet them then?"
"no, reiki-" suna was cut off again. "now i'll finally be famous and we can be together for real" she sighed. "christ, reiki. let me speak! i'm trying to say that we need to end whatever this is. my parents found out and they're not pleased whatsoever with our... thing."
"what? why not?" she asked, tilting her head. "you know why. we come from different backgrounds. rich people date rich people, sorry" he sighed, rubbing his forehead.
"plus, we were never anything special anyways. all we did was hookup a few times" he said again. "what? woah, um, okay. i should've known that our worlds would never collide. sorry for the trouble" she sighed, closing her eyes.
she held in her tears as she watched suna grab his things and leave her house. after that, she'd never see him again. reiki took this loss with grace, and realized that she was out of suna's league.
suna drove to practice as he recalled the events that just happened in his mind. "i can't believe people found out that i was sleeping with a normie" he laughed to himself. "what a time to be alive. scandals are fun" he chuckled.
he walked into practice and was greeted by his teammate, who immediately bombarded him with questions about the "mystery girl" that suna was seen out with.
"you should've stayed with y/n. she's hot. i'd hit that" he finished. "you don't need to be so... derogatory when you talk about women, tatsuki" komori approached the two, rolling his eyes.
"yeah, yeah, whatever. but she's hot though, you can't deny that" tatsuki said. "she's a pretty girl. don't know if we'd ever work out though" suna shrugged his shoulders. "have faith buddy. plus, don't you have that dinner tonight? maybe things will change" komori patted suna on the shoulder.
"nah, i doubt it" he replied.
suna realized just how much chaos y/n brought to his life. and oddly, it was kind of fun. he enjoyed her presence when they used to hangout, and the intimate moments they'd share after having sex.
he missed the way her fingers massaged his scalp with shampoo in the water. he missed her personality, her smile, and most of all her love.
maybe y/n never loved him, or liked him.
but suna was sure that he had feelings for her now.
