"My jealousy, jealousy

Started following me

Pacify her

She's getting on my nerves"

Jealousy, Jealousy X Pacify Her

1831

Belinda returned from a walk in the park with the young marquis, and now they sat down for a cup of tea, discussing his travels in Italy. Belinda was glowing with happiness, and this did not escape the notice of Daphne and her mother, who sat nearby, whispering to each other as they watched the couple with warm smiles on their faces.

"My aunt and her husband have been to Italy," Belinda said, a light note of pride threading through her voice. She shared stories about her aunt Hyacinth's travels with her husband Gareth.

At that moment, the prince entered the room, and everyone stood to greet him.

"Good day, Bridgertons," said Franz, then turned to the marquis. "How wonderful that you are here! I was just looking for you."

"Are you sure you were looking for me?" the young man asked, taking a sip of tea with a playful glint in his eyes.

Franz rolled his eyes and continued, "Alright, alright. You win. So, have you seen her?"

"Who are you searching for, your highness?" Belinda asked, showing genuine curiosity.

"My sister," replied the marquis, his voice sounding as if he were preparing to make an important announcement.

"You have a sister?" Belinda exclaimed, surprised. "You never mentioned it!"

The marquis looked at her with mild surprise but shrugged and said, "I suppose it's something you need to see."

Both the prince and the marquis laughed, and a light tension hung in the air.

"So do you know where I can find her?" the prince continued, now more impatient.

"Why should I know where your fiancée is?" the marquis replied with a smirk.

At that moment, Daphne, who had been sipping her tea, nearly choked. The others, including Belinda, sat with their mouths agape in astonishment.

"You're engaged?" Violet finally asked, her voice full of genuine interest.

"To his sister?" Belinda clarified, her eyes wide with shock.

"Since they were six years old," the marquis stated as if it were the most casual thing.

"So that's how it works among royals. Our marriages are usually predetermined," he continued. "Sometimes long before our birth. My parents were lucky to meet in adulthood."

"You speak as if you are not pleased with your union," the marquis observed.

"I am not just pleased. I am happy. And I can't wait until we can finally have our wedding," the prince declared, his face radiating joy.

"Uh-huh, so that later you can search for her around your palace," the marquis laughed.

"I don't understand why you decided to come to the social season then?" Belinda asked in surprise.

"Yes, your majesty, why?" the marquis asked slyly.

"Because the future princess wished to make her debut. And I..."

"And you couldn't refuse her. Or rather, no one even asked you," the marquis laughed. "Alright, alright, to be fair, her opinion is hardly valued. She may be a future princess, but she was born a queen."
