Bzzzzz bzzzzzzz
I wake up
I look at myself and groan at the sight of the messy hair firstly I Do my hair then I do my routine,Wear my uniform and Go down for breakfast
"Aww come on sis, you can't be that tired" said George who was already there all prim and proper looking Lok the perfect person he is
"Well thanks to somebody I had to go to a banquet on Sunday" I said aggravated
"Hey si- dayum! Someone sure woke up on the wrong side of the bed today" Levi said
"Give her a break, it's not her fault" Logan continued "but you really gotta get a proper sleep schedule"
"There it goes the last straw of gratitude I had" I said
Everyone just snickers
I glared at them with that death glare
I have my toast and coffee
Then we get in the car and go off to school
I get in and go to a bench in the courtyard where I lie down with a book on my face
I could not get a wink of sleep last night
I am sooo freaking tired and sleepy
I had to stay up all night because of a certain test for me to control my mana
I'm so tired
I was happily passed out getting the even the tiniest bit of sleep I can when a white dove comes to me and starts pecking my book
What the hell
I wake up and I see a familiar white dove with  green eyes
"Darren?"I said rubbing my eyes
The bird or should I say Darren nods his head
He transforms back into his usual self
A tall dark haired boy appears infront of me with a smirk on his face
"Did you miss me?"
"You're here!" I said exclaiming 
"You jerk!" I said punching him
"Owww, is that how you greet a friend"
"You jerk! Don't you fucking speak to after you leave me like that and blame me! How dare you think you can just waltz, no fly into my life you backstabbed and you absolute piece of shit!!And how dare you shapeshift in public when anyone could see you!!!"
"I wanted to talk but I couldn't and I am sorry for that but now we can make up for lost time"
"In your dreams!" I scoff
"Why not" he whined looking at me with puppy dog eyes
"Oh I don't know maybe cause I don't wanna talk to someone who thinks I would do things like that"
"It's not like that"
"Oh really ? Then what is it like?"
"I never wanted to but"
"But what?"
"I can't tell you that"
"Exactly, of course you can't, meaning I don't have any reason to speak to you"
"Well, we are classmates"
"No we are not!"
"Yes we are"
"You don't go here"
"Now I do"
"Screw you!"
I stormed off
That jerk! I should have kept my distance from him shapeshifters are known to be devious, I just thought that's a bad rumour
"Hey! What are you doing here this early?" Charlotte said
"Levi and Logan"i said
"What happened to you" she questioned
"Darren happened"
"He's back?"
"Yup" I said with my dead eyes
"I thought that you guys were good friends?"
"Well no, not anymore"
"Why? What happened"
"He went off to Peru last year for some research or something and he blamed me for the accident"
"That bitch! You would never!"
"That's what I said"
"Then he came up to me as a dove and sat on my book and now he goes to school here in our class"I whined
"It's okay, all you need to do is ignore him"
"Yeah damn right I will that absolute bitch"
"You good?" Louis said coming up to me
"Why would you care?"
"Geez I was just being nice no need to be such a buzzkill"he said
Yet another annoying person
"Ughh"
Noah and Louis sit in their seats as we sit in ours
"Class, I would like to introduce you to our newest student 'Darren Warner'" the teacher said
"Hi, I'm Darren,I hope we'll get along"
He's here
While he goes to sit 2 rows behind us louis asks
"is that a shapeshifter?" He whispered
"Unfortunately"I said
"Why the long face? I heard they're really rare"
"They are, but he's just a scumbag"
He laughed a bit there
"Well, at least I know I'm not your most hated classmate"
I scoffed and laughed a bit there
Wait a minute... did he just make me laugh??
My thoughts were interred by satisfaction of looking at Damien's eyes glow with jealousy as he grinned his teeth
I smirked on the inside
The first two classes went by
Break time
Of course,
I see damien waiting for me near the door
Of course I had realised that he was jealous, for heaven knows what at that
We never had anything going on between us
And anything we could've had ended when he did that
Just who the hell does he think he is??
This time I didn't have a single thought or emotion when I went towards him
I was in going and I had barely made it out of the door when he pinned me against the lockers
"Come on don't be like that Ave" he said
"Don't call me ave" I said with fury "and don't you dare think you have the right to speak to me" I said as I kicked his shin he groaned in pain "or else the next time you won't be so lucky" I warned him as I came out of that space and headed to the cafeteria after stomping his foot of course
"Im not a demon for no reason Darren"
"And the worst one of them all at that, you should be well aware of how you'll end up and I am sure you wouldn't want that"
"Now don't fucking talk to me ever again dickhead"
Louis's Pov":
She looks distressed
I Wonder what happened
Oh well it's none of my business
I looked forward as soon as I began to sense an aura
It seemed like..... a shapeshifter's
Maybe I should ask Avery she might know
I asked her

"is that a shapeshifter?" I whispered unsure of whether or not I should mention it judging by her reaction to him
"Unfortunately"she replied looking like she was reminiscing

I wanted to just stay quiet but I couldn't so I laughed a bit there
In the short amount of time I have known her she's never once looked like this at... anyone before, and as much as I hate to admit it I wanted to make her feel better
Because, I am an angel, literally that's why I tried to shake off the uncomfortable atmosphere by cracking a little joke probably not enough to make her smile, but I can't try, I am an angel
if I did nothing I would bring dishonour upon my entire family, dishonour upon myself and dishonour upon my cow... or at least that's what I heard
"Well, at least I know I'm not your most hated classmate"I said as she chuckled a little bit
Time passed and now it was break time
What's happening?? I reacted to a certain sound coming from outside of like metal banging probably
I get too see Avery's face turn completely devoid of even the slightest hint of ant emotion I noticed
I haven't seen her like this
It's absurd!
I was curious a bit as to what might have happened but their voices were really low
I could easily tell she was discomfited through out her conversation
I was about to step in before I saw he giving Huge kick in his shin
I guess those threats directed towards me weren't that empty after all huh
I kind of snickered a bit because I am after all a hundred percent sure that he definitely deserved it
She goes away as he's still grunting in pain
I was about to step in just in case he does anything
She might be really annoying but no one should treat a woman like that if you know what I mean
Avery's pov:
I stormed off and went away to the a little corner in the school where people don't usually come
Im afraid that it anyone did find out about here I surely would never be able to be here in peace
It's a small corner behind one of the trees that has a bunker
This school does seem to be full of secrets even though it is pretty normal
I have only told this to one person and that's Charlotte
In case I go missing at least she'll know where to look
I slowly began decorating this all throughout last year with little late night trips and some help from Charlotte who practically threatened the servants so that she doesn't tell anyone about this and now it's finally perfect
It has internet for starters
And a rug with mattress, blankets, a little sunlight thing, lanterns, lights, decor and books lots of books
I was about to jump behind the tree before  saw Logan
"Hey ave, funny seeing you here"
"Heyy" I said awkwardly
"So what are you doing here?"he asks
"I could ask you the same thing dear brother"
"Well I was just admiring this here soil and some flowers looking at the beautiful essence of nature"
"As was I"
"Ok... so none of this happened?"
"Yup"
Louis's pov:
I was walking around when I saw Avery down on the ground
She slept off?
I moved closer and saw that she actually fainted??
What the fu-
I was cut off by a siren
I was really confused
I think it's only been 10 minutes
We still have another ten whole minutes left
Wait a minute I smell......... smoke?
Smoke!?
There was a fire.
Realisation hit me like a pile of bricks
I had to save her
I can't leave her like this
She'll .. I couldn't think of it
I ran up to up to her and picked her up and we went inside to go outside
We were on our way through the halls that were empty
I went outside only to find Charlotte worried and on the verge of crying paving around trying to ask animals what happened
And Noah practically tackling the people infront ofus and the twins were being held down and stopped while they did the same
"Louis?Avery?"
"Where were you!"Noah screamed losing his composure
I'll tell you but help me first at least
I put Avery down on the grass and a swarm of students surrounded her
I was out walking when I saw Avery faint and then I heard the bell and I was confused and then I picked Avery up and took her here
"You did the right thing but you could've told me you idiot!"
"How mind you I was busy escaping from a fire and can some doctor please check if she's okay!"I said in a hurry rushing towards her as she was getting checked
A few minutes later she woke up
Avery's pov:
Ughhhh my head is pounding what the fuck happened
I sit down and looked around to find a swarm of students gathered and Levi Logan and Charlotte practically tackling me as they hugged me
"Ahhhhh where Am I ???"
"What the fuck happened?"levi said
"Where were you?"logan said
"How the hell did you faint?" Charlotte said
"I have no memory it's all fuzzed up last I remember I met him"I said pointing towards Logan "and after that I felt a presence of someone behind me with a dark shadow of a slim body wearing a ponytail and a fruity flowery scent when it all started to get black and I couldn't keep my eyes open anymore and all the strength within me just declined and I couldn't move anymore and I passed out I think"
"How did I end up here?" I asked
"Oh about that..... so I kinda found you passed out and heard the bell and the smoke and all of that and I just picked you up and brought you here"Louis explained a bit embarrassed and shy
"Th-thank you"I said yet again, how does he manage to be here all the time
I was so confused, later I was taken back home where my brothers did an intensive check took me to the hospital and began an interrogation
On the bright side, at least the school was not that harmed and there were no casualties
But there's no time to be distracted just yet... someone tried to kill me? I think
and it was so..
I can't do this I need to find new techniques to protect myself, looks like I'm going to have to do double the work now for my mana classes
And also start doing boxing again but more advanced
The school did however give us a holiday for the next 3 days
