Ch6

we were back at school
the holiday went by really quick
I was in class now with my extra extra extra weaponary
I now have a dagger, pepper spray, that bracelette which sends location and signals it to others and dials 911 and of course a taser which i had no need for because i do have my fire to rely on
I went to class, same thing
"you good?" louis asked
"yeah, and....thanks, for saving me" i said
"um yeah youre welcome" he said a bit awkwardly
the day went by slowly and oh my god it was sooooo utterly boring, like we didnt even do anything important
of course Darren just had to come to me again and again

time passes

we go to the chemistry lab and i was sitting with charlotte to my left
darren comes up to me yet again, oh my god why does he have to be here, like I swear, he needs to move on and get a life
he pulls up a chair and begins to sit next to me and then i say
"stop." I said not even bothering to complete my scentence
"what?"he said acting clueless
"you know what" i said
"I'm just sitting next to my friend" he said
"we are not in any way and will never be 'friends'" I shut him down in an instant, glare at him and move to another seat
the same thing happened in lunch
the rest of the day went by
I went out of the school only to find Levi and Logan
"come on, the car's here ave"Logan screamed
"I'm not deaf you know"I screamed back
Levi snickered leaning on the car, he wrapped his hand around my neck and we were about to go when suddenly that jackass appeared
"how about you and I have some ice cream together"darren said
"Sod off"Levi said
"I don't believe I was talking to you Levi" Darren said 'politely'
"I don't believe I was talking to you either jackass" I scowled
"I just want to talk" he said putting his hands up in the air, my brothers looked at me and i nodded. They left me alone and waited "you don't need to wait you can go without me" I insisted
"fine, come home before an hour after that you have practice"Logan said handing me my gym bag, levi scoffed "unbelievable,that cunt" Levi muttered under his breath loud enough for him to hear it. He glared back unwilling to leave and i just smiled at him so he gets put at ease a bit at least
"what do you want" I said irritated as I left my bag on a bench and followed him to an arch like corner secluded from the rest of the areas, bad choice but I've got nothing to lose I'm not afraid of that punk  I can burn him to a crisp
"all I want is things to be like they were" Darren said like its easy
"like how it was after you left you mean" I said
"you know I never wanted to do that"he pleaded looking a bit serious
"but that didnt stop you did it?"I said annoyed
"I never wanted it to happen, lets go back to how it was, please" he said with a tone that was genuine and soft but serious as he looked at me yearningly
"oh look, you almost had me belive you for a second there, too bad such petty tricks don't work on me anymore. this is pointless and do yourself and me a favour, leave me alone and dnt waste your time with this because it going to get you nowhere" I said plainly still looking at him with no emotion
"oh come on! people make mistakes! forget about it! it's been an year!" he started off losing his temper
"Oh! losing composure now are we? come on scream a bit more so that the teachers can hear you"
he looked at me again irritated and even angry that this didnt work I could see it in his eyes
"Fuck off and leave me alone before I report you"I said as I was about to go away and turn around when he cornered me and pinned me against the wall
I grinded my teeth as he looked at me with his eyes filled with sincerity or that's what would appear to anyone else knowing him, I know better, that's a fake look
He says "I'm sorry Avery, I really am, I had no control, you know how it is with the families always no choice, let's go back to how it was I know there must be a part that of you that still has lingering feelings for me"
"Lingering feelings?"I scoffed "the only thing lingering is the authorities because of whom I can't burn you, yet. Just so you know you egotistical numbskull I would never have any feelings other than resentment, rage and pity, pity that you still can't give up on me because your idiotic self suggests I like you and you can't move on, pity that no one has ever been there for you and one of the only people that had was someone you threw aside and betrayed, pity that there is no one that actually loves you and the list goes on"
He was still irritated, I could see it, in all honesty it pleasured me to see it, his helplessness his neediness his irritation. I wanted him to know what it's like, to be like I once was, to have a taste of his own medicine and this is just the tip of the iceberg
"Oh really? If you don't like me then who do you like?"he took a step closer and bent down looking me in the eye smirking "that boy you were talking to in class? You thought I didn't see you?,the way you laughed, the way he looks at you,you might just get yourself a boyfriend this way, you should know this though, he won't take you, he won't love you like I can, he can't handle you, a demon as you said yourself and after all, he's no angel either"
I clenched my jaw looking at him with rage when suddenly he was kicked in his knee from behind
I saw a blue aura as he was swept away onto the hard ground hitting him
"Get away from her you scum"a voice said in an american accent wearing a midnight blue hoodie with the hood shadowing his face
His voice was stern and he was completely terrifying
He looked up with blue eyes sparkling like sapphires and greyish black messy hair, his lip was a bit cut up on the side and he was tall, he looked about my age and he was absurdly strong and in no doubt supernatural, the aura he gave off... it was powerful, and it was a werewolf's aura
He did look absolutely badass if I'm gonna be honest
Darren looked at him and rose his hand in an attempts to land a blow on his face, the mysterious guy avoided it easily and kicked his shin saying "you fucking punk, didn't your mom teach you to respect women, how dare you corner her and threaten her knowing she feels uncomfortable"
"Mind your own damn business bastard, just who the hell are you" he said getting up brushing off the dust
Just as Darren tried to punch him again the stranger gabbed onto his arm twisting it as Darren groaned
He left his arm and said "get the fuck out of here dickwad"
Darren left holding his now hurt arm
"Are you alright?" He said a bit worried looking at me
"Yes, thank you for that and who are you?" I asked
"pleasure to meet you, I'm Asher Colton judging by your uniform I'm guessing you go here and by that I'm also guessing we'll be bumping into eachother quite a lot " he said holding out his palm
"Charmed, judging by how you seem to be sure we'll be bumping into eachother a lot how about you just figure out my name" I said putting my hand into his as he kissed it
"Quite the gentleman I see"I said smiling
"Quite a beauty I see and this mystifying persona is enticing me quite a lot" he said smiling back
"You must be a werewolf, am I right" I said
"And judging by your knowledge you must be a supernatural aswell" he said "who might you be, mysterious mystical maiden"
"Take a guess"I said playfully
"Hmm.... A wizard or elf maybe"he said intrigued
"not even close" I said playfully "i don't know if im offended or flattered by that statement" i shrugged
Another guy with blue hair came up waving his hand saying "there you are! I've been looking all over for you" he looked around and looked at the ruffeled up appearence and said "oh my god ASHER!!! YOU CAN'T JUST REVEAL YOUR AURA LIKE THIS INFRONT OF COMPLETE STRA- wait a minute I know you" he said pointing towards me looking like he was really puzzled and concentrating
"let's continue this later I believe I've got to go see what's wrong now" he said smiling and he turned away looking at that other guy "what is it Matt?"he said irritated
"the school says we can enroll tomorrow" Matt said
"okay...and" he said
"they need to see you and sign some documents and everything, you know the drill"
"kay'"Asher said "I'll see you tomorrow mysterious maiden"
"I look forward to it" I said
the two of them left and then I went to the bus stop yet again since i insisted that my brothers didnt wait for me

I was leaving when suddenly i heard a rustle, I looked around but I didn't see anyone, weird..
I got my bag and went outside the school and headed towards the bus stop "hey" louis said following up
"oh hey" I said "heading to the bus stop?" Louis asked "yeah" i replied "want a ride?" he asked
well that was sudden i thought it was a bit awkward between us for some reason, that reason being we practically havent had a decent conversation alone it was gonna be awkward but it's better than waiting for the bus and then going home and then going to train so I said yeah
"yeah but where do you live? and i still have to go to the gym so incase youre not going that way.." I said
"oh its not a problem, what gym? I was going to find on since i just moved here" he said
if i recommend another one that'll just be rude but if i say he can join that one i'd have to see him again and again and it isnt like we never see eachother right now so this is a bit..
"um.. you can just try out the one I go to it's pretty good but it isn't that popular so if you wanna join then sure"i said awkwardly
"Perfect" he replied what a weird guy
after like 10 minutes of absolute silence we got to the gym and we got off with our gym bags because apparently he had his with him too, thats a bit weird but I shouldnt be one to judge considering I literally just walked outta nowhere with a gym bag infront of him too so he's probably thinking the same thing so I'm not really in a position to judge
I went ahead and changed into gym clothes and met up with my brothers
"Heyy you're back"Logan said
"What did that bastard want from you?" Levi said aggravated
"He wanted a second chance"I said
"That-" Levi started when I cut him off "I said no obviously"I intentionally left out the Asher part because they'd overreact if they found out
Just then Louis came up from behind me "so Avery I was wondering where do I sign up?"
"Hey Louis"Logan said in a friendly manner "so what brings you here?" He continued
"Yes Louis what brings you here and more importantly what are you doing here with Louis?" Levi asked me giving that creepy smile while Louis was just cluelessly staring 

ughhh angels too doe eyed and pure if you ask me

Oh my gosh hiii, it's been a month since my last upload and I am so sorry bet I was really really really busy, you can ask @haleyhood123  but I will try to upload often and also I will upload more chapters and what are your thoughts on the new characters??. Imma be honest I didn't even know that I would be adding Asher it was a really spontaneous decision and if you're wondering what's going to happen I also have no idea my brain is really weird and just spontaneously does anything because I overthink irl a lot I'm guessing I don't think in books as much because it's like a world of my own, gosh that sounds so cringe but anyways thank you for reading and I will try to upload more.
