Power couple

The world loved them, admired them, and often referred to them as the ultimate power couple: Min Yoongi, the enigmatic, cool-headed CEO of Daegu Enterprises, and his equally powerful fiancé, Park Jimin, the luminous and charismatic CEO of Busan Corp. Together, they ruled the corporate world, but their true power lay in their love for one another.

Yoongi was known for his sharp mind and relentless work ethic. His office ran like a well-oiled machine, and he hardly ever let anything distract him. He was feared and respected in equal measure by his employees. Yet there was a side of him that only Jimin saw — a softer, more vulnerable side.

Jimin, on the other hand, was a force of nature in the boardroom. His charm, grace, and ability to navigate even the toughest of deals made him a household name. But behind closed doors, he was deeply in love with Yoongi. Their love wasn't just a simple romance; it was a partnership of two souls who balanced each other perfectly.

However, not everyone admired this relationship.

Among the ranks of Yoongi's employees was Mia, a stunningly ambitious woman who had set her sights on more than just her career. Though she knew Yoongi was taken — and not just taken, but deeply in love with someone as wonderful as Jimin — she couldn't help but desire his attention. She had tried every subtle trick, from dressing in ways she thought would catch his eye to finding excuses to be near him, but Yoongi never gave her more than a cursory glance.

It was as if she didn't exist. And in Yoongi's world, she didn't.

His eyes were always for Jimin.

One particular afternoon, Yoongi was sitting in his office, reviewing documents for an upcoming merger. His focus was sharp, his mind entirely on work, when the door to his private office opened. Without looking up, he assumed it was his assistant.

"What is it?" he asked, his voice crisp.

A soft chuckle floated through the room, immediately warming Yoongi's heart. He looked up to see none other than Jimin, dressed in his signature tailored suit, his eyes sparkling with mischief.

"Miss me?" Jimin asked, stepping inside and closing the door behind him.

Yoongi leaned back in his chair, a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips. He hadn't realized just how much he missed Jimin until he was standing there, looking every bit as breathtaking as the first time they met.

"Always," Yoongi replied, his deep voice softer now, reserved only for Jimin. "What are you doing here?"

Jimin walked over, his movements graceful and fluid, and perched on the edge of Yoongi's desk. "I had a meeting across town and thought I'd stop by to surprise my fiancé. You've been so busy lately..."

Yoongi's hand reached out, brushing against Jimin's knee before sliding upward to rest on his thigh. "I've missed you."

Jimin smiled, his eyes twinkling. "You say that as if we haven't seen each other in days."

"Even hours feel too long," Yoongi whispered, pulling Jimin closer until their lips were just inches apart.

The world outside faded. In that moment, there was no Daegu Enterprises, no meetings, no deadlines — only the two of them, wrapped in their own bubble of love.

Jimin leaned in, brushing his lips gently against Yoongi's. The kiss was slow at first, teasing, as though they were savoring the moment. Yoongi's hands slid up Jimin's waist, pulling him closer. Their kiss deepened, filled with the kind of passion that only came from years of knowing each other's hearts and souls.
