As the minutes passed in quiet tension, the stillness on the rooftop was interrupted by the sudden sound of a notification pinging on Jimin's phone. It startled him—he rarely received messages from anyone other than Yoongi these days. His heart raced slightly as he checked the screen. The message was from an unknown number:

"Meet at Han River Tower at 3:45 PM."

Jimin blinked in confusion, his brow furrowing. **Who could this be?** Before he could process it further, Yoongi's phone buzzed with the same sound. They exchanged puzzled looks, each sensing that something wasn't right.

"What does yours say?" Yoongi asked, eyes narrowing slightly as he glanced at his own screen.

"The same as yours, I think," Jimin mumbled, his voice still shaky from earlier.

"Han River Tower. 3:45 PM. But... why?"

Yoongi didn't answer immediately. He was too busy trying to figure out who could be behind the message. His thoughts were interrupted as he remembered his father had confiscated his motorcycle keys after their argument last night.

"We'll need to take a cab," Yoongi said grimly. "I have a bad feeling about this."

The ride to Han River Tower felt like it took forever. As they approached the gathering place, Jimin's stomach tightened with unease. The building looked cold and formal—almost like a business conference venue. A chill ran down his spine as they stepped inside, guided into a room filled with an unsettling atmosphere.

The first thing Jimin noticed was the presence of both the Min and Park families, sitting across the table from each other. The tension in the room was palpable. His eyes darted between his own family and Yoongi's. "Why were they all here together?"

Mina was the first to acknowledge them, a mocking smile playing on her lips. "Oh look, the lovebirds finally arrived, hand in hand like a married couple," she sneered, loud enough for the whole room to hear.

Yoongi's father smirked, looking at them both with thinly veiled contempt. "Sit down," he commanded coldly.

Waiters appeared almost immediately, placing coffee cups in front of them without a word. The bitterness in the air matched the bitterness of the black coffee. Jimin swallowed nervously, his hands shaking slightly as he looked down at the table, avoiding eye contact with anyone.

The silence didn't last long. Yoongi's father spoke again, his tone sharp and businesslike.

"Let's get straight to the point. You both need to break up. Now."

Jimin's breath caught in his throat.

"What?"

"We don't care about your feelings, your relationship, or whatever nonsense you think this is," Yoongi's father continued, completely unfazed by the shock on their faces.

"If you agree, we'll make sure the video is covered up as a fake. We'll clear your names. No one will ever know what really happened."

Jimin's heart pounded in his chest, and he felt a cold sweat break out on his forehead. He looked to his parents for any sign of comfort, but his mother's expression was just as harsh. She nodded along with Yoongi's father's words, her eyes filled with disgust.

"If you don't agree, you can leave the family. We'll drop you from our names. No more money, no more support. You'll be on your own."

The gravity of the situation hit Jimin all at once. The room was spinning, and he felt like he couldn't breathe. His mind couldn't process it— "was his family really willing to disown him? Over a video? Over his love for Yoongi?"

He glanced at Yoongi, his eyes wide and filled with fear. He could feel the walls closing in on him, and all he wanted to do was disappear. His hands trembled under the table, but he forced himself to look up at Yoongi. Their eyes met, and Jimin saw something in Yoongi's gaze—something steady, unshaken.  "Confidence. Determination."

"Jimin," Yoongi's voice was low but firm, cutting through the noise in Jimin's head. "Do you trust me?"

Jimin couldn't speak. His throat was dry, and his emotions were overwhelming him. All he could do was nod, his eyes wide and pleading.

That was all Yoongi needed. He turned back to their families, his expression hardening. "Give us one week," Yoongi said with an icy calmness that shocked the room. "We're leaving. We're moving out."

There was a stunned silence as Yoongi reached for Jimin's hand, gripping it tightly before pulling him up to leave. The room felt like it was frozen in time, everyone's eyes on them as they began to walk out.

But Yoongi's father wasn't done yet. "Stop!" he barked,

making both of them pause just before they reached the door. Yoongi turned back, his jaw clenched.

"You think you can walk out without consequences?" his father sneered.

"Pay for your coffee. Yours, and your worthless lover's too."

Jimin flinched at the words, feeling the sting in his chest as his own family nodded in agreement. The weight of their rejection felt unbearable.

Yoongi didn't react outwardly, though Jimin could feel the tension radiating from him. Without a word, Yoongi pulled out his wallet, dropped some cash on the table, and locked eyes with his father, his voice cold and final.

 "Keep the change."

With that, he turned on his heel, holding Jimin's hand tightly as they walked out, leaving behind the families that had once been their worlds.
