Two days later.

Tomorrow is the engagement day of Kiran Murty and Diya Yadhav.

Kiran is the single child of his parents who are both forensic surgeons. Although Murty family is rich and prosperous, Kiran, like his parents followed his passion and became a CBI officer while his father take care of the company and career at the same time.

His family is settled in the city, while his seventy years old grandmother is living in the countryside. The old lady is too stubborn and decided to live at their house in the countryside out of the blue, where she and her husband used to live in their youth.

She do these things occasionally. Grandma Murty whose name is Ambika, always do unpredictable things even at this age. One moment she want to enjoy the romance of Taj Mahal, another moment she want to see the beautiful river of Nile in Egypt. Krishna Murty was frightened to find that his mother really went to Egypt with servants without telling anyone.

The place Ambika living is the tharavadu of Murty family. That's where several generations of Murty's has lived and died. Krishna Murty was the only son of his parents, same as Kiran.

So they wanted Kiran's engagement to be held at their tharavadu. Krishna Murty and his wife Gowri Murty has discussed this matter with Prakash and Radhika.

They respected Diya and her parent's choice, as the engagement is to be held at the bride's house according to the customs. Surprisingly, Prakash and Radhika agreed to it happily.

"Acha, why did you agree? We should have held the engagement at our home." Deepa gazed at her father with a questioning look, her tone was a bit complaining.

Currently, the family of five is going to Murty family's tharavadu for the engagement. Everything is already prepared there, with the joint work of both families.

In the car, Prakash was driving and Radhika was in the co-pilot seat while the three daughters were sitting in back. The latest Mercedes was moving smoothly on the road, accompanied by two more cars with the things they prepared for the pooja and their personal items.
From a certain distance in front and back, black lowkey cars were following them and ensuring their safety, without letting anyone discovering them.

Prakash who just moved his gaze from the rear view mirror that was reflecting the cars behind, glanced at his daughter and said with a smile, "Deepa, the marriage relationship is between Diya and Kiran. It was them who told me that they wish to have it this way."

"Yeah chechi, Kiran is their only son and grandchild. Won't they also have a dream about his marriage? Most importantly I also wanted to visit that place for a long time too. That's why, I let it be when Kiran suggested this idea. His tharavadu is away from the city and is gifted with natural scenery that is a fairytale to the city.

We rarely go out together, so this is also an opportunity to spent time together and refresh our busy mind. It's only the engagement chechi. Marriage is definitely at our house!!" Diya hugged Deepa's arm and explained.

"... Little Miss has grown up now." Deepa listened to her sister's words and patted her head adoringly.

"Yeah, yeah really grown up!! She is finally going away. I can live peacefully now." Daisy sneered at Diya and held Deepa's other arm who was sitting in the middle.

"From now on, I am my chechi's Lil sissy. You, grown up, move away. Don't act like a child!" Daisy looked at Diya playfully.

What followed was a scream by Daisy when Diya smacked her head.

"No matter what, Chechi is mine!" Diya smiled at Daisy provocatively.

"Nope, she is mine!!!" Daisy didn't give up.

Looking at their daughters arguing  like nursery kids, and their eldest daughter who was smiling in anger and trying to suppress her argue to beat up the other two, Prakash and Radhika couldn't hold back their smile.

The dark clouds that surrounded their family two days has already passed away and now it's time to begin a new journey.
