The next day after Ansh's birthday, he woke up and rubbed his eyes, expecting to see his mom, but Priyanka was nowhere to be found. He quickly jumped out of bed and rushed out, shouting, "Mumma! Mumma!"

Hearing Ansh's cries, Ankit hurried over and lifted him into his arms.

"What happened, Ansh?" Ankit asked, noticing the worry on his son's face.

"Papa, where is Mumma? She told me stories last night, and when I woke up, she wasn’t here," Ansh said, tears rolling down his cheeks at the thought that his mumma had left him again.

Ankit wiped Ansh's tears and settled him on his lap on the couch.

" Don't cry ansh. Mumma said right good boy's don't cry hmm " Ankit said soflty. Ansh nodded and wiped his chubby cheeks making ankit smile.

“Mumma has her own mom and dad too, right? She can’t stay here forever. They would miss her if she wasn’t with them,” Ankit said, watching Ansh nod slowly, his expression turning sad.

“But remember, Mumma promised she would come whenever you wanted. She was here for your birthday yesterday and spent so much time with you, didn’t she?” Ankit asked, lifting Ansh’s chin gently to encourage him to think positively. Ansh’s face brightened momentarily as he nodded in agreement.

“So now Mumma has gone home to spend some time with her mom and dad,” Ankit explained.

Ansh looked up at Ankit with wide, hopeful eyes. “If Mumma can’t stay here, then we’ll go to Mumma and stay with her ” he declared earnestly.

Ankit felt a bittersweet pang in his heart at his son’s innocent suggestion. He smiled sadly, wrapping Ansh in a warm hug. “I know, my Prince, I know you miss her. We can visit her soon, I promise,” he whispered, wishing to reassure him while grappling with his own emotions.

Just then, their security chief entered the room, holding a box. Ankit glanced at him, raising an eyebrow in question.

“Umm… Sir, Ansh’s mother…” the security chief began, trailing off as he noticed Ankit’s frown.

“The madam who came for Ansh’s birthday yesterday sent this gift for him,” the security chief quickly explained in one breath.

Hearing about his mother, Ansh lifted his head from Ankit’s chest, jumped off his lap, and ran over to the security chief. “Sachi, Uncle? This gift was sent by my Mumma for me?” he asked, his face lighting up with excitement as he glanced at the box.

The security chief nodded with a smile and handed the box to him. Ansh’s eyes sparkled with joy as he turned back to Ankit, running to him with the gift in hand. “Papa, see! Mumma sent a gift! Yayyyy!” he exclaimed, bouncing up and down with excitement.

Ankit couldn’t help but chuckle at his son’s enthusiasm, feeling a warm sense of happiness wash over him as he watched Ansh celebrate this special surprise.

“Okay, my boy, let’s open it and see what you got!” Ankit said, settling Ansh on his lap and placing the box on Ansh’s lap. Ankit began to unwrap the gift, while Ansh eagerly waited to see what his mumma had sent him.

As Ankit opened the box, he revealed several cupcakes, which made Ansh lick his lips in anticipation. His face lit up with delight, and he beamed at his father. Ankit rolled his eyes at his son’s undeniable love for cupcakes. Alongside the treats was a greeting card adorned with a cute smiley face. Ansh picked it up and kissed it.
