Everyone settled into the living area as Aarohi served drinks and snacks. Ankit felt nostalgic entering the house after four years, recalling the time he spent with Priyanka and her family during college. Meanwhile, Ansh sat in Priyanka’s lap, hiding his face in her neck, feeling shy and a bit nervous around so many new faces. Pri looked down and noticed Ansh clutching her tightly.

“Ansh, bacha, look at me,” Pri said softly, encouraging him to meet her gaze. Ansh looked up at her with his innocent doe eyes, and Pri could see the mixture of shyness and apprehension in his expression.

Understanding his feelings, she gently helped him stand up properly and guided him toward her parents, who were seated beside the couch. Kneeling down in front of him, she took his little hands in hers, kissing them tenderly. Looking into his eyes, she said

“Ansh, see, they are my mumma and papa,” Pri said, pointing to her parents. Ansh turned to look at the couple and then back at Priyanka.

“My mumma cooks yummy and delicious food. This morning, you ate the cupcakes I sent you, right?” Pri asked, prompting him to nod enthusiastically.

“She cooked those yummy cupcakes!” Ansh's eyes lit up as he looked at Pri's mom, who chuckled at his excitement. She leaned down, kissed his cheek, and blessed him, adding to his growing comfort.

“And he is my papa, he’s my superhero,” Pri said, but Ansh excitedly chimed in, “Like my dad is my superhero!”

Pri glanced at Ankit, who was adoring the scene, then looked back at Ansh and nodded. Ansh smiled at Pri's dad, who also blessed him warmly.

Next, Pri took Ansh over to Arjun and Aarohi. “This is my brother, my second hero, and she is my best friend, Aarohi. They’re Nidhi’s mumma and papa, and you already know Nidhi.”

Ansh looked between Arjun and Aarohi, who were visibly emotional seeing Ankit's son. Arjun lifted Ansh into his arms and kissed his cheek, prompting Ansh to give him a cute smile. Curious, he asked, “What should I call you all?”

“You can call us Nana and Nani,” Pri's parents said warmly.

Ansh looked at Arjun and Aarohi who smiled and Aarohi said, “You can call me Mami, and he’s Mama.”

“Nana, Nani, Mama, Mami” Ansh squealed happily.

Ankit smiled as he watched Ansh bond with his best friend and Pri’s family. His heart felt content, knowing that Ansh had people in his life besides him and Maan. This was what he had always wished for familial love that he had missed in his own childhood. With Pri by his side, he knew everything would be beautiful and perfect for Ansh.

Priyanka's father observed Ankit, who was looking at Pri and Ansh with a small smile filled with love, longing. He then glanced at Pri, who was smiling wholeheartedly with Ansh, something he had missed during those years.

“Ahem... Pari, take Ansh and Nidhi to your room upstairs. I have something to discuss with Ankit,” Pri's dad said, surprising everyone, especially Pri and Ankit. Pri frowned but nodded, seeing the emotions in her father's eyes that conveyed, "Trust your father."

“Ansh and Nidhi, let’s go to my room! I’ll show you new toys,” Pri said, taking both kids’ little hands in hers as they headed upstairs not before glancing back at Ankit, who looked a little nervous.

Ankit knew this moment would come, and he had prepared for it. Although it was difficult for him to remember that dreadful day, he had to face it, for Ansh and for himself. He glanced at Maan, who blinked his eyes in a gesture of support.
