As Abby approached the entrance of Kingston & Co., her heart raced with a mix of anticipation and nerves. The bustling city seemed to blend into the background as she focused on the task ahead—delivering an important report to Adrian. Just as she was about to step inside, she spotted a familiar figure leaning casually against the wall. It was Andrew.

“Hey, Abby!” he called out, a warm smile spreading across his face.

“Hi, Andrew,” she replied, her cheeks warming slightly. “What are you doing here?”

“I was just grabbing some coffee. How was your night?” he asked, pushing off the wall to stand closer.

They chatted for a few moments, their conversation light and easy. Abby found herself laughing at Andrew’s witty remarks, enjoying the comfort of their friendship. She appreciated how he always seemed genuinely interested in her day-to-day life. As they talked, she felt a sense of ease wash over her, as if the world outside faded away.

Meanwhile, inside the office, Adrian’s younger brother Zeke had just arrived for an unexpected visit. He strolled into Adrian’s office with a casual confidence that made him instantly likable. Abby had heard about Zeke but had never met him before; she was curious about this younger sibling who shared Adrian's sharp features but carried a more approachable demeanor.

“Hey, big bro!” Zeke greeted Adrian with an enthusiastic high five that caught Abby’s attention as she walked by.

“Oh hey! What are you doing here?” Adrian replied, his tone warm but slightly surprised.

“I came to see you and maybe steal some lunch,” Zeke joked as he settled into a chair opposite his brother.

Abby knocked on the door gently before entering Adrian's office to deliver her report. She noticed Zeke and smiled at him; there was something refreshing about his energy that made her feel at ease.

“Zeke",he said smiling back at Abby.He liked her immediately.

"Oh,I'm Abby,",she said shaking his hands.

"You are the new director right?,I see you are working hard",Zeke said.

"Yes,I am,"Abby replied rolling her eyes inwardly as she looked at Adrian.

Zeke noticed and smiled again. 'he's really a hard nut to crack right?,I know too',he mouthed to Abby who nodded curtly at him.

Adrian dismissed Zeke as he was disturbing him and Abby left too.Zeke walked Abby down to her office while discussing things with her on the way.

As they began discussing work, Abby couldn’t resist sharing her opinions about Adrian seeing how Zeke's character contrast his own.“Honestly, I think he’s got great looks but lacks warmth,” she said candidly. Zeke chuckled in agreement.

“Looks like we have something in common,” Zeke said as they both laughed together.

They talked more and when it was time for Zeke to leave he asked for her phone number as they've become friends.Abby gladly gave it to him and he promised to keep in touch with her.

Before long,it was time for lunch. As she made her way to the cafeteria, she spotted Andrew waiting for her at a table alongside Raquel and Neil.

“There you are! We thought you got lost!” Raquel exclaimed playfully as Abby joined them.

Andrew leaned forward with a mischievous glint in his eye. “So… did you impress the big boss?”

“It went well! And I met his younger brother too,” Abby said excitedly as she took her seat.

“Oh really? What’s he like?” Neil asked curiously.

“He’s actually really fun! Much more laid-back than the CEO,” Abby replied with a laugh.

Andrew watched her closely as they enjoyed their meal together. He seemed particularly interested in hearing more about her interactions with Zeke and Adrian. Between bites of food and friendly banter from Raquel and Neil teasing,Them getting along with Andrew too,Abby felt grateful for this moment of camaraderie amidst their busy work lives.

After lunch wrapped up and everyone began to disperse back to their tasks for the day, Andrew stood up first. “I’ve got to run some errands,” he said casually but lingered for just a moment longer than necessary before adding, “See you around?”

“Of course!” Abby replied enthusiastically as he walked away.

As the day progressed towards closing hours, Kithara was immersed in typing away at her computer when there was an unexpected knock on her door followed by the arrival of a delivery man carrying a package addressed to her.

“Uh… this is for you,” he said awkwardly as he placed it on Kithara's desk before leaving quickly.

Kithara raised an eyebrow in confusion; she hadn’t ordered anything recently. Curiosity piqued, she opened the box carefully and gasped when she saw what lay inside—a stunning necklace accompanied by delicate tulip flowers and an adorable romantic note from Roshan.

Her heart fluttered at the sight of the thoughtful gift; it was clear that Roshan was making strides in expressing his feelings for her again—something that filled Kithara with joy and excitement all at once. Without hesitation, she picked up her phone and dialed his number to express her gratitude personally.

Meanwhile, as closing time approached for Abby too, Andrew unexpectedly offered her a ride home after spotting her leave the building alone. She hesitated only briefly before accepting; it felt nice to have someone who cared enough to offer help after such a long day.

The drive home was filled with light conversation and laughter as they shared stories from their day—each moment further solidifying their friendship in Abby’s mind. Once home, she settled down for dinner with Grandma while recounting all that had transpired during the day--- her meeting with Zeke and Andrew giving her a lift.

After dinner and some cozy chats with Grandma about family matters and life updates, Abby switched gears again when Kithara called later that evening excitedly sharing all about Roshan’s surprise gift—a story that sent Abby into fits of happy coos over the phone.

Feeling content from all these connections—both new ones like Zeke and deeper ones like Kithara's blossoming romance—Abby eventually drifted off to sleep that night with dreams swirling around friendships blossoming into something more meaningful amidst the busy chaos of life at Kingston & Co., feeling hopeful for what tomorrow might bring.
