It's freezing outside. Even with my heavy coat on I'm cold.

It might be November but that doesn't mean I have to like the weather. A few of the girls are making fun of me and I just sit in the back and pout.

You know that feeling when you think everyone around you is making fun of you?

Well I'm getting that vibe ten times over right now.

Kk keeps looking back at me and giggling.

I think she mentioned how I looked like Matt Leblanc in the friends episode where he steals all of Chandlers clothes.

Whatever that means.

Paige, Az and I are all playing Crazy 8 together on our phones. Not to brag or anything but I've won six times and they've each only won twice.

It definitely doesn't have to do with the fact that Paige keeps peeking at Az's screen without her realizing. Or how she'll tell me what colors Azzi doesn't have so then I play them.

Hey, I didn't ask her to help me cheat. It's just we both find it so funny to watch her get upset.

Season officially starts today. Or at least in the manner that their first game of the season happens.

The coaches took all the girls out for breakfast and now we're heading back to the facility to get ready and all that.

Theres some press before the game. To talk about how season is starting and all that jazz. Geno asked me if I would sit in at least one conference which I'm not exactly thrilled for but it's whatever.

The girls kept asking me what I would be wearing to their games and I said I'd dress up, but then they didn't like it.

They all say that I had to rep their merch, whatever that means.

We finally pull back up to the gym and I wait for everyone to get off.

Azzi is lowkey still upset that I beat her so bad and it's hard for me to not smirk. I hold it together though. Please be proud of me.

Paige gets up and I make sure I'm the last one off. I make it to the stairs and as I'm heading down the stairs I trip over the lip on the step, suddenly my body falling forward and I don't manage to grab onto the railing.

My hands involuntarily go forward to brace myself on the ground.

My eyes close and I just wait for the impact to come.

It never does and instead I feel my body on a body. My hands land on someone's shoulders and their arms are wrapped tightly around my waist.

I've never been this clumsy in my life, someone help.

I finally open my eyes to see pretty blue ones looking into mine. My cheeks go red as she makes sure I'm okay.

Everyone else seems to have already began their walk inside and haven't seen what's happening.

"Thanks." I bashfully say.

"No problem. Are you okay?"

I stand a little straighter but her hands remain on my waist. Holding me as I steady myself.

"I think so. Goddamn, I think you just saved my life."

I huff out a laugh but she still just looks concerned for me.

"You sure you're good?" She looks genuinely worried for me and I feel thankful to have a friend like her.

I nod and she slowly let goes of me. We walk inside together to see the whole team having their faces shoved to the glass to see what we were doing.
