Do you ever have one of those days where everything you've been bottling up, comes out all at once?

Where you've been suppressing things for so long that the only way to keep going, is to let it all out?

And not in a cute way.

The things where life was too hard to cope with so you just put it out of mind. But then something reminds you of it and then you have to deal with it all at once.

I don't know what got me to this point, but I haven't even been able to get out of bed because of it.

I literally have a practice to go to but I don't think I'll be able to get up. I just don't know.

My lungs are struggling to fill with air, and my pillow soaked with my never ending tears.

My emotions are on overdrive.

My phone rings and I press the green button. Paige is facetiming me.

I'm so far gone that I dont even care that she's going to see me at a low point. With puffy eyes and everything.

"What do you like when you're sad? I can bring you anything." She skips over asking me what's wrong and just asks for that.

I sniffle a little and try to get some air in so I can answer her.

"You don't have to. I'll be okay."

She just shakes her head and I see her get out of her car and enter a building.

"Too bad. In assuming some sort of chocolate, is it too cold for ice cream? Or wound you rather some soup. Seriously, I want you to feel better. Just tell me what will make you feel alright."

I think on that for a second.

"Maybe some hot chocolate. That's always nice."

"I figured you'd want that. Alright. Give me about 15 minutes and I'll be there, okay?"

I never asked her to come over. She's taken over being my person here. Always wanting to help me and be there for me.

"You really don't have to, Paige. I'm sure Geno wants you at practice."

"He actually told me it was alright to miss. He said that no husky was to be left by themself."

Aw, that was sweet. Kind of.

"Okay, I'll see you in a few then. Drive safe."

There's some ice on the road and it's supposed to get bad tonight. So I really don't want her to crash her car.

I need her in once piece. I mean, we all do. Like the world. As a whole. Yeah, everyone needs her.

Somehow time passes by fast and suddenly my door is opening. She doesn't say anything but I can hear her take her shoes and jacket off.

She rummages through a few of my drawers and finally I can tell that she's headed my way.

When I see her I try to smile but I think it comes off as a sort of grimace.

She takes a knee at the side of the bed and looks at me. There are a few bags in her hand and she sets them on the ground.

Her hand moves up and brushed some hair out of my face. I sniffle again and she just gives me a small smile.

"Okay, I think the first thing on the agenda is a bath."

Oh? Take me on a date first.

Those words must have accidentally slipped out of my mouth because she blushes.
