Cover Story: Shouto comforts his father after recent events.

Flashback to the night before the press conference:

Walking out of the toilet, an ashy blonde teen bumped into someone he didn't expect to see. "Sorry." The man sighed.

Looking at the wounded hero, Katsuki noticed that his fiery flare was gone, "So what, you're gonna give the world a statement and quit? You're like a shell of what you used to be." Even if the teen was a massive fan of the fire hero, Katsuki knew he needed to say something to one of his idols.

"I can't quit, I have to atone," Endeavour replied, making Bakugo scoff.

"Get your stuff together, you're the number two hero in Japan and I don't know what the new world rankings look like, but my point is that you need to understand that you're important to everyone. I know this may sound insensitive and you can take this one of two ways, but I'm gonna say it. You created this problem so you'll have to deal with it, being all down about it won't change what you have to do out there so get back your original fiery spirit. I watched your fight with the Nomu and even if it were for a moment, you seemed cooler and more badass with All Might." The teen revealed, shocking the man.

Before the man could say anything, the UA student had already walked past him and made his way down the hallway, leaving him with his words. "He's right..."

Present Day:

"The Past Never Dies... That's what my son told me when I finally found out who he was. When I heard those words the reality of everything really struck me. I'm someone who isn't proud of their past. While I may saved many of you in this room and around the world at the time as Endeavour, the man under the costume, Enji Todoroki was a villain. My envy for the number one spot was like a disease until a few events happened. After those events, I was forced to mature and for the past few years I begged my kids to forgive me... that was until Shouto had a conversation with me. I can't force people to forgive me, all I can do is try my hardest and earn that respect, trust and forgiveness. There isn't a single night I didn't think about my deceased son, but... now that I know he's alive, I know I can right my wrong. I know you all may think differently about me so I'll say one thing for you all to take away. Just watch me." Endeavour finished, causing an eruption of voices.

"Shouto, what's your opinion on your brother being alive?! What will you do as the main victim of this whole situation?!" A reporter yelled out, catching the boy's attention.

Tapping his mic, Shouto looked at the woman. "You're beautiful." He smirked before fixing his posture, "But to answer your question, I'm going to deal with my brother myself. Many of you may look to my father and expect him to deal with it, but I'm the one he has an issue with and I have an issue with him." Taking off his gloves and rolling up his sleeves, Shouto showed the world his scarred body. "He did this, my own brother did this. Every night I have nightmares of him doing it and... to say the least I need to deal with my demons and now that I know he's alive and breathing, I can take him out so don't worry everyone, my father will continue to be the hero you all idolised and I... I'll become the hero you all look to when you have to face your demons." Shouto ended before standing up.

Looking up at his son, Enji smiled and stood up alongside him. Bowing to the crowd. "You did well Shouto."
