Have you ever tried finding something in the dark?
You really need this thing, but you don't have light to see....
It's difficult, right?
So try to imagine how it is to search for a rare squid in a big ocean! That's what me and Delja are doing. We are squid-hunting... me in the air-bubble, and Delja swimming gracefully around.
The party is at midnight, that would be in a few hours... which means we don't have a lot of time. We need to find the squid quickly, for the potion is going to need a lot of time! We already have the other ingredients... we just need this one.
"Any luck?" I ask, swimming towards her. I breathe steadily in my air-bubble.
"No." she answers, swimming around me... her white tail is sparkling from the moonlight. Her curly black hair is floating around her head, and I can see a small part of her shell crown.
I smile... I'm really the luckiest guy in the world!
She looks at me. Her face has a shadow of sadness trying to hide itself... but it isn't really good at it.
"What's wrong?" I ask, swimming closer towards her, taking her hands in mine.
"I saw Hae." She whispers.
I pull her gently into a hug... Hae was her best friend when they were small. She also was part of my group when it was still small... and didn't have a stable place to make home... but one day, I sent her to go to the beach to get some fish. But she never returned she joined the pirates... and she threatened Delja a couple of times when Delja just wanted to talk to her. Which broke her.
"Are you okay?" I whisper into her ear.
"I don't know." She squeaks out.
I hug her a bit longer, then give her a kiss on the forehead.
We pull apart, but I'm still running my hands up and down her arms.
"I'll be okay." She says, giving me a small smile.
I smile back at her... and touch her chin.
"I know you will, but if you wanna cry, I'm here right next to you."
I kiss her softly on her lips, and she kisses me back.
"I love you." She whispers.
"I love you too." I say gently.
After a while of swimming and searching. I finally see something moving.
"THERE!" I shout, making bubles in the water.
Delja swims towards the squid quickly,
and catches it.
She's laughs triumphantly, as well as I.
"YEESS!" I scream, making some more bubbles.
She comes closer to me squid in hand, I give her a small net that I made for the squid. She puts the squid in the net and ties it closed. She smiles at me. I grab her face and kiss her.
She puts her free arm around my neck, her hand in my hair.
Bubbles explode around us,

As Delja mixes the concoction of pixie dust, petal of a fresh lily, a mermaid's tear, a pinch of sand, I watch her from the water.
Her tail now a long white skirt, with a slit at the side. Matching white fabric is covering her chest, but I can still see a small part of her stomach.
Her hair flows with the light breeze. Her face is glowing from the full moon.
She's just gorgeous!
I'm standing in the water holding the rubbery black squid in my right hand and a small bottle in the left hand, almost full from the squid's ink.
As the last little bit of ink is in the bottle I let go of the squid, it swims away so fast... The waves are pushing me to shore, a soft spray kisses my back.
I walk back to Delja, my feet are now covered in a skin of sand.
"Here ya go m'lady... A bottle of squid ink, just for you." I say sitting down next to her. I give her a kiss on the cheek.
She smiles.
"Aww, why thank you m'lord." she says giving a soft giggle.
Her dimples are showing, and it makes my heart flutters!
She adds the ink to the wooden bowl with the concoction, and there it is a glow!
She takes a small pieces of fabric that is the size of her hand, and then she uses the wooden spoon to put some of the potion in the middle of the fabric.
The she brings the corners together in one hand and put a string around it and secures it.
She does it again with another piece of fabric.
She hands both bags to me.
"And there you go. To bags of healing serum to go." She says smiling.
"One for Angel and one for Esme." I sigh.
"Let's go!" I say, handing the bags back to her, then I pick her up bridal-style.
We fly to the other side of the isle to our secret village.
The town is getting ready for the big party, small stands with food and drinks are being prepared.
Jars filled with pixie dust is hanging on ropes that are hanging over the dance floor.
We land near Angel's cottage,
I put Delja down, she walks to the door and knocks.
Angel opens the door, her long brown hair is braided over her left shoulder.
She's wearing a blue dress and a white apron, her feet bare. Her brown eyes are blank.
"Hello?" She says.
"Are you ready to see the full moon again, Lady Angel?" I ask proudly.
She gasps softly, bringing her hands to cover her mouth... She starts to cry.
"Is it today?" She asks relieved.
"It sure is." Dalja answers.
She opens one of the bags and start to dabs the potion gently against Angel's closed eyes.
After a few moments Angel starts to blink... With every blink her face changes into a big smile.
"oh Dios mío!" She whispers.
She looks up at me, an emotion washes her face, then she starts to cry.
"You look so handsome!" She says, laughing softly.
I chuckle.
"Why thank you mi Angel." I bow, that makes Delja giggle.
I would love to stay and show you around, but my sister would love to dance tonight so I'll see you two at the party!" I say start to slowly fly up.
"See you later!" Delja says, waving at me.

I knock on the captain's courters' door.
Damiao answers it. He glares at me but let's me in.
"I come barring great news!" I say proudly.
"I'll leave you two." He says to Esme. He walks out and closes the door behind him.
She's sitting on her bed, in dark blue dress, her hair half up half down style, with beach waves.
"Is it that I can go to the ball tonight?" She jokes.
"Sí." I answer.
She chuckles. "Well? Get on with it!" She says excited.
She lifts her skirt up, just past her knee, and I start to rub the potion on her knee.
After a few moments her face lights up.
I move back, as she tries to stand up... After a few moments she starts to jump up and down, then twirl... Laughing all the way.
She runs to me and hugs me tight. "Thank you! Thank you!" She says, hugging me tighter.
"We better go to the back to the village now... The party will start soon." I say, walking back to the door.
"Uuumm, one more thing..." She starts.
"Yes?" I look back at her.
"Can we invite the pirates? I know you hate them... But they aren't that bad... The deserve a second chance." She says fiddle with her fingers.
I sigh.
"If it'll make you happy Essie... The I can't see a reason not to."
If those pirates make any move, I will kill them.
She smiles brightly.
"I'll go tell them!" She says excitedly.
I hope she's right about second chances... Otherwise her heart might break... And I'd hate if that happens.
