Ainsley and Esme were playing in the backyard. Their father, Jack Pan, was barbecueing and laughing at his children. Their mother, Agatha Pan, was sitting on the wooden bench by the wooden table drinking a lemonade next to Jack.

They've been living in their little home for four years now.

Living room, kitchen, small dining room, and a bathroom. Upstairs is the two bedrooms, one for the parents and one for the children... the room is a bit too small for two beds side by side, so the little family decided to get a double bunk bed. Esme, of course, slept on the bottom bed, and Ainsley slept on the top bed.

They were the happiest family on the block. Their house only filled with laughter, singing, and jokes. Jack was brilliantly bad at making dad jokes.
And Agatha was brilliant with her singing, thanks to her mother, who was the best singer in Mar y Tierra.

After Jack and Agatha ran away from her father, Captain Hook, they came to the 'real world,' where they didn't have a penny to buy food or shelter. So Agatha started singing shanties on the streets to make money, and Jack found a job as an assistant for a carpenter since he was really good at building things.
After a few months, they could finally afford a very small apartment.

One day, when a music producer saw Agatha on the street singing, he immediately said she should come work for him. So she did she sang a few other genres of music... which earned her more money. But of course, she always had one or more shanties in her albums in honor of her childhood.

After four years from arriving here, they had Ainsley, and three years after that, they had Esme. So then they moved to the small home on Hillcrest Street number 44.

Agatha looked at her beautiful children playing in the mud, making mud desserts for after lunch.
Agatha was a fare beauty with brown hair and hazel eyes... she wasn't fat nor skinny... she was strong and well built.

Jack was tall and lean, strong arms for his heavy lifting and rough hands from his work. But he's a gentle giant... with blonde hair, a squared jawline, and blue eyes... he always had a big smile on his face.

"Food's almost ready!" Jack said loud enough for the kids to stop what they were doing and came running with giggles. Esme jumped into her mother's arms with her muddy hands around her mother's neck, but Agatha didn't mind at all. Instead, she giggled with them blissfully.

"Ah my sweet darlings, let's go wash hands, shall we?" She said after a while.
The children started racing towards the bathroom, and Agatha sighed and stood up. She started for the door to the house, but Jack pulled her in for a kiss.
It wasn't long, nor was it short, but there was unconditional, passionate love... they broke the kiss. "I love you, Jack." Agatha said softly. "I love you two." Jack replied, then kissed her cheek.
She left to find her kids in the bathroom, throwing water at each other with giggles.

"Hey, what are you doing." Agatha asked enthusiasticly, smiling at her children.
They giggled uncontrollably. "Washing our hands." They said synchronizing. Showing their clean hands for her. She smiled.
"C'mon, your dad is waiti-," she gets inturupted by a knock on the front door. They didn't invite anyone for the barbecue... so she looked confused at the front door.
"I wonder who might that be." She said, looking at her children. They were very curious to see who the uninvited guest is.

Agatha walked towards the door... and looked through the peeping hole. Her breathing stopped. She quickly turned to her children with a finger on her mouth so they won't make a sound.
"Remember where you should hide if there was trouble?" She asked quitely her two sweet children, trying not to sound worried. "Go hide, but be quiet until i come and get you okay." She says, pushing them towards the stairs. Ainsley took Esme's hand, and they quitely took off. Another knock.
