Sunrise glistening over the peaceful ocean... pelicans in the distance.
The scent of salt water in the air, the ship swaying with the water.
Unfortunately, monsters don't like the light.
And so I stand in the shadows of the cave on the helm of my ship, which is still docked.
A small breeze enters the cave, I breathe in...Oh, how I miss sailing.
The waves crash against the bow.
The wind pushes the sails forward.
The Destination... anywhere and everywhere.
Smell of adventure, rum, and treasure.
And my crew together, working hard in the sun.My thoughts get inturupted as I see a black raven approaching... one of ours.
I hold my arm out for the silky black bird.
He lands gracefully, making his screech of a song.
Around his left foot is a small scroll tied to his leg.
I scrach his chest, and I take the little scroll.***
We got news.
There is a newcomer, a girl.
She arrived five days ago.~ Your brother, Damião.
***
"A girl? Why the bloody hell did he bring a girl? He stopped bringing people to Mar y Tierra a long time ago." I mumble to myself. The raven flies away.
"Captain?" Asks a deep voice behind me.
I turn to Connor, and his hair is combed back. He's wearing his long black coat, with a black v-neck shirt and black pants. He's wearing black leather boots that end just under his knees.
Black belt around his waist with two pistols on the right with a piece of fabric tied to keep in the gunpowder.
On the other side is a dagger and a sword, in their sheaths."Ainsley brought a newcomer." I amswer seriously.
"And? Why are you worried about it?" He asks nonchalantly.
"Because... it's been a long time since he brought someone to Mar y Tierra!" I eplain.
"Maybe he got bored... and wanted to help a lost soul." He says teasingly.
"I don't think so... this seems different." I say, staring back at the ocean outside side, at Isla Nunca Más.
"I think you're overthinking this." He says gently.
I turn back to him.
"And I think you're an idiot!" I scold.
"At least I'm handsome." He smirks at me.
I glare at him.
I walk towards him, and I lift my hand to touch his chin.
Dark hair is starting to come out.
"You should shave."
"Why?" He asks, a sigh at the end.
"Because I am the Captain... and if you don't shave... you're off my crew." I stated calmly.
"That's a bit dramatic, don't you think?" He says a tiny smirk on his face.
"What can I say... pirates are very dramatic." I say, walking back to the edge and looking out at Isla Nunca Más.
"And I am a bloody woman." I say proudly. Smirking to myself.
