Small update:

The next day, Yn woke up with sweat covering her forehead. She panicked, sitting up quickly and taking deep breaths. Grabbing the glass of water from her nightstand, she gulped it down, trying to calm herself.

"It's okay, Yn. It was just a bad dream," she murmured to herself.

She got ready for her university classes, had breakfast, and left the house after saying goodbye to her mom.

As she walked to the university, her eyes were glued to her phone. Suddenly, she flinched, feeling like someone had blocked her path.

"Aah!" a small gasp escaped her lips.

But when she looked up, there was no one there. Shaking off the strange feeling, she continued her walk and soon arrived at the university.

"Why do you look so lost, Yn?" her friend asked.

"Ah, nothing. I was just thinking about something."

"Are you hiding something from me?"

"Aish, stop it! No, I’m just tired," Yn said with a laugh.

"Okay," her friend agreed, dropping the subject.

After classes, Yn headed home for a short while before leaving for work.

While she was engrossed in her tasks at the store, she suddenly felt as if someone was watching her. Glancing toward the glass door, she saw a figure dressed in black, staring at her. Trembling, she walked over to open the door. But when she stepped outside, no one was there.

After her shift, Yn returned home.

"Yn-ah, is everything alright? You’ve seemed off these past few days," her mother asked with concern.

"Yes, eomma, I’m fine. But..." Yn hesitated.

"But what? Tell me what’s bothering you," her mom urged.

"Eomma, I feel like someone is watching me. Like there's always someone keeping an eye on me," Yn confessed, her voice uneasy.

"My innocent Yn, it’s just your exhaustion playing tricks on you. You've had hectic days lately. Get some proper rest, my child," her mother comforted her.

"Mhm, maybe you're right, eomma." Yn agreed as she got ready to sleep. Just as she was about to lie down, her phone rang. She thought it might be her friend, but the number was unknown.

Yn felt uneasy, staring at the screen for a moment before summoning the courage to pick up the call. "H-Hello?" she stuttered.

"Who is this?" she asked again, her voice shaky.

But there was no response. When she looked at her screen, the call had already ended.

She sighed and crawled into bed, trying to push the discomfort away.

Days passed, and the uneasiness slowly began to fade. She almost forgot about the strange incidents. But then, one evening, as she was preparing to close the store, a tall man, dressed in black, entered once again.

Yn instantly recognized him. Her skin crawled, but she tried to remain calm and composed.

"Sir, we're about to close. If you need something quickly, I can assist you," Yn said, trying to sound normal despite the fear rising within her.

"Do you remember me?" he asked, his voice heavy and dark, sending chills down her spine.

"Y-Yes, sir. I think you were here a few days ago," Yn stammered.

"Good. I’m glad you remember. That saves me from reminding you," he said, smirking beneath his mask, his eyes dark and fixed on her.

"S-Sir, how can I help you? If you're looking for something specific, I can assist you. But we’re closing soon," Yn replied, mustering up the courage to keep her voice steady.

The man tilted his head slightly, still smirking. "I’ve already found what I was looking for," he said softly.

"I-I don’t understand," Yn stuttered, gripping the register tighter. She felt trapped by his intense gaze.

The man leaned in closer, his face just inches from hers, and whispered, "Soon, you will."

Before Yn could respond, he turned and walked out of the store. Trembling, she quickly locked up, her body shaking with fear. She ran all the way home, shutting herself in her room as soon as she arrived, still trembling from the encounter.
