Taehyung began his plan almost immediately. He knew he had to prove to Mrs. Kang that he wasn't just a cold, ruthless businessman. He had to show her a softer side, one that could convince her that Yn would be safe with him.

Over the next few days, Taehyung arranged for various community outreach events donating to local schools, sponsoring youth programs, and helping out at charities that were important to the neighborhood.

He made sure to do all this quietly, without making a big spectacle of it. It wasn't for show,it was for Mrs. Kang to see. He knew she would hear about his efforts, and that's exactly what he wanted.

Finally, one afternoon, Taehyung received word that Mrs. Kang had seen him personally during one of his charitable acts. She had been returning from the market when she noticed a small crowd near the local community center. Upon investigation, she saw Taehyung, helping distribute food and supplies to the underprivileged.

She hadn't expected to see him there, and her heart softened at the sight. The way he moved through the crowd, making sure everyone had what they needed, reminded her of her late husband, who had done similar work during his life. It touched her deeply.

Mrs. Kang stood there for a while, watching as Taehyung interacted with the people, handing out blankets and toys to children. It was a side of him she hadn't expected, a side that made her reconsider everything she had thought about him.

When she returned home that evening, she found herself thinking about him in a different light. Maybe Taehyung wasn't as bad as she'd thought. Maybe he really did care for Yn, even if he had a hard time showing it.

Back at home, Mrs. Kang sat with Yn after dinner.

"Eomma, are you okay?" Yn asked, noticing the thoughtful expression on her mother's face.

Mrs. Kang hesitated before speaking. "Yn, I saw Taehyung today... doing something kind. He was helping people, doing charity work in our neighborhood. It reminded me of your father."

Yn blinked, taken aback. "Taehyung? Charity?"

Mrs. Kang nodded. "I'm starting to think that maybe there's more to him than we've seen. He seemed... different, in a good way. Maybe he really does care about you, Yn."

Yn frowned, unsure of how to process this. She had always felt uneasy around Taehyung, but hearing her mother speak of him with such warmth made her question her own feelings.

That evening, Yn sat on the couch, her thoughts swirling as she tried to make sense of everything her mother had told her. She had made it clear that she didn't want to marry Kim Taehyung, but her mother had been relentless. Mrs. Kang had spent the better part of the week trying to convince her daughter that Taehyung was a good match.

Again after a week.

"Yn, listen to me," her mother had said over and over.

"You need to understand, he's not as bad as you think. I saw him doing charity work. He reminds me so much of your father. And I'm getting older... I want to see you settled. He can take care of you."

Yn didn't believe. But she couldn't fight back any longer. The exhaustion of it all wore her down, and she found herself agreeing, if only to make her mother happy.

"Okay, Eomma," Yn had whispered quietly, her heart heavy..

'I'll do it... for you.' She muttered.

Mrs. Kang had hugged her, relief flooding her face.

"You'll see, my dear. It's the right choice."
