Mr. Kim stood near the window in his office, staring outside with a heavy sigh. He had just finished telling his eldest sons, Namjoon and Jin, about Taehyung’s wedding plans.

Namjoon, who had suspected something like this was happening, leaned against the doorframe, arms crossed. "I already knew something was up. I knew he was planning to marry someone, but now it makes sense why. It’s her, isn’t it?"

Mr. Kim nodded gravely. "Yes. He’s dead set on marrying her. But I hope he moves on after marrying her."

Jin, sitting across from his father, froze. His face paled, and his heart began to race. "What? Her? No, it can't be. Why her?" His voice trembled with shock and disbelief.

Namjoon pushed away from the doorframe, walking over to Jin. "It’s true, Jin. Taehyung’s doing this to hurt you. He knows how you feel about her."

Jin’s eyes flickered with confusion and pain. "He... knows?"

Namjoon sighed, placing a hand on Jin’s shoulder. "Yes. He’s known for a while now."

Jin felt his chest tighten as the reality of the situation sank in. Yn, the girl he had quietly loved for years, was going to marry Taehyung not out of love, but as part of a cruel revenge plan.

"He can’t do this," Jin muttered, more to himself than to anyone else. "I need to talk to him."

Namjoon nodded. "I was planning on confronting him myself, but I know he won’t listen. You should talk to him. Maybe hearing it from you will make him reconsider."

Jin stood abruptly, his fists clenched at his sides. "I won’t let him ruin her life."

After getting home namjoon found Taehyung in the family gym, his shirt off as he relentlessly hit the punching bag. Each strike echoed through the room, a reflection of the simmering rage within him.

"Taehyung!" Namjoon’s voice cut through the noise, causing his younger brother to pause, wiping sweat from his brow.

Taehyung turned, his eyes cold and unreadable. "Hyung, what do you want?"

"I know about the wedding. And I know what you’re planning. You’re marrying her just to hurt Jin. You’re using an innocent girl to settle a score that shouldn’t exist in the first place."

Taehyung’s jaw clenched as he turned back to the punching bag, delivering another hard punch. "Stay out of it, Namjoon. This doesn’t concern you."

"It does concern me!" Namjoon snapped, stepping closer. "Because you’re my brother. You think this is going to give you satisfaction? Ruining an innocent life and destroying her future just to get back at Jin? What kind of happiness is that?"

Taehyung stopped, breathing heavily, his back still facing Namjoon. "You don’t know what it’s like. You’ve always had everything handed to you. But Jin, he took something from me."

Namjoon shook his head. "You’re wrong, Taehyung. Revenge won’t heal the hurt you’re carrying. Destroying someone else’s life won’t fix what’s broken inside of you. You’re better than this.

Taehyung finally turned to face his brother, his eyes blazing with cold fury. "I don’t need your advice. You’re not me. You don’t understand the pain I feel. Jin is going to suffer just like I did."

Namjoon stepped closer, his voice firm but pleading. "Don’t do this, Taehyung. Yn has nothing to do with your anger. She’s innocent in all of this. You’ll only hurt yourself in the end."

But Taehyung’s expression didn’t soften. "I don’t care, hyung. This is my decision. I’m going to marry her, and nothing you say will change that."

Namjoon stared at him for a long moment before stepping back, knowing that no amount of reasoning would get through to his younger brother. "You’re making a mistake, Taehyung. And one day, you’ll regret it."

With those words he walk out of gym, all frustrated.

Jin was hearing everything from doorway, later Jin stormed into Taehyung’s office that evening, his heart pounding with anger and fear. Taehyung sat behind his desk, his expression indifferent as Jin slammed the door behind him.

"Taehyung, what the hell are you doing?" Jin shouted, his face flushed with emotion. "You can’t marry her!"

Taehyung raised an eyebrow, leaning back in his chair. "Why not? She’s perfect for me."

Jin's fists clenched. "You’re only doing this to hurt me, aren’t you? You’ve known for so long that I love her, and now you want to take her from me. But Yn, she doesn’t deserve this. She doesn’t deserve to be caught in the middle of whatever this is."

A bitter smile played on Taehyung’s lips. "You’re right. I knew you loved her. That’s exactly why I’m marrying her. I want you to feel what it’s like to lose the one person who means the most to you."

Jin took a step closer, his voice shaking with emotion. "Please, Taehyung. Don’t do this. If you care about anything if you have any decency left in you, stop this wedding. You can still change your mind."

But Taehyung’s expression remained cold and unyielding. "There’s nothing you can do to stop it, Jin. The wedding is in two days. You can come if you want. Watch as I take the one thing you couldn’t protect."

Jin’s heart felt like it was breaking in his chest. He knew Taehyung was stubborn, but this was cruelty beyond anything he could’ve imagined. "You’re going to ruin her life, Taehyung."

Taehyung leaned forward, his eyes glinting with dark satisfaction. "No, Jin. I’m going to ruin yours."

Jin stood there, frozen, as his brother’s words sank in. He had always known Taehyung was capable of great ruthlessness, but this... this was something else entirely.

"I’m begging you, Taehyung," Jin whispered, his voice barely audible. "Don’t marry her."

Taehyung’s smirk deepened. "Beg all you want. It changes nothing."

With those final, Taehyung left his office leaving Jin behind, slamming the door hard.
