Hi everyone,

I write one shots totally based on my imagination. Sometimes the incidents are taken from the book written by Author Rina and the other times its purely my own madness taking over.

I try my best to mimic the character's true personality but I might not always succeed.

Please be kind if you find any deviations from our beloved characters.

I hope you enjoy these one shots as much as I do.

ELSA

The tension in the air, the gloominess surrounding us is starting to get suffocating.

The last two days has been nothing remotely normal. We all had leaned onto each other in silence.

None of us talked about what happened, I bet no one knows how or where to start.

I have never met Helen Nash in the time I had got to know Aiden and his friends. So her death shouldnt affect me but I could feel the hand squeezing my heart whenever thoughts about her knocked my mind.

Its been two days since her funeral. All of us dressed to nines in our finest clothes went and acted like she mattered.

To the world Helen Nash is a renowned mystery-thriller author, the country's Prime Minister's wife but the truth is far from it.

Silver came for the funeral and left early citing health issues. I dont blame her, actually it was rather quite generous of her to attend the funeral.

I couldnt stop worrying about Cole. He had not only lost his mother, his only family but also learnt some ugly truth about her.

After the funeral he told Aiden he will be staying in The Meet Up and asked not to be disturbed. We decided it is for the best to give him space.

Two days later we couldnt stop worrying about him. So Aiden and I decided to visit.

Aiden's shoulder are too tensed as he keeps his grip on the steering tight. He is not comfortable with words but it is clear he wants to comfort Cole.

He hasnt spoken a single word since we decided to visit. For all my constant thoughts about Cole, even I havent figured out on how to approach him.

All I know is I am going to be there for him like a good friend. I may not be his best friend like Aiden or the boys but there is something we both have in common.
We both are guilty.

The car comes to a screeching halt infront of a cottage I have visited more times than I can count.

Aiden and I take deep breaths and enter the cottage to find Cole sitting on the sofa, cup of coffee untouched and a full ash tray. I have only seen Cole smoke twice including today.

Upon our arriving he lifts his head slowly and the look in his eyes nearly stops me in my track. His eyes lack the usual warmth he offers to people even if he doesnt mean it most of the time.

"Hello Cole" Aiden says, his voice softening as much as he could.

The only reply we hear from him is a grunt. Aiden steps forward and remove the cigar from his hand.

Cole keeps his grip tight but Aiden retrieves it with enough force.

"Have you had anything?" I ask looking around.

"Yes" he barely mumbles.

Aiden moves around the kitchen only to find nothing to eat or cook making him sigh.
