I wanted to read Remi and Ari's book. We only got tidbits of them all over the series.
God of War marked their happy ending.
We saw how far Ariella stalked Remi.
I particulary wanted to know when Ariella snapped and decided to be as petty as her Dad.

ARIELLA

My car comes to a halt infront of Steel Corportion headquarters. I drove straight here after going out with my friends to pester Remi as he and everyone else likes to put it.

Remington Astor, my charming soon to be boyfriend must be working his ass off inside the building.

Eli is over working every single poor soul around him. I will need to have a word with that psycho for tiring my Remi out. He looks so stressfull nowadays and he never lets me loosen him up a bit.

I keep telling myself that he will come around but it is starting to get on my nerves.

I waited years to become a woman so I could be with him. I am twenty years old now so I really dont understand what is stopping him from accepting us.

I can be persistent and I am proved to be very patient when it comes to Remi but even my patience has its limits.

I inhale deeply and let out all the negative thoughts focusing on my today's goal of taking Remi out on a date.

I reach the top floor where Remi and Eli works. I know my brother in law is currently not in this building and Aunt Teal is working from home leaving Remi alone.

Taking advantage of the missing secretary at her desk I push open the door to Remi's office, only to get my heart crushed.

A blonde chic has her arms around Remi's neck, bending over to say something on his ears. Remi has his hands on her waist making her stand in between his legs.

Anger surges through me and tears prickles at the corners of my eyes making the room blur.

Both of them turn around to see the intruder aka me and the blonde narrows her eyes at me.

"Get out of here. Cant you see he is busy?" The blonde high pitched voice fills the room. I swear I saw the potraits in the room shaken up a bit.

The tears forming in my eyes abruptly stops and the anger pushes through making me slam the door behind.

I step forward despite her protest keeping my attention on Remi who looks at me blankly without any emotions.

I let the rage consume me and pull her away from him by her hair. The girl screeches for help but Remi makes no move.

I push her out of the room and shut the door behind her. I could hear her shouting profanities at me but I could not care less about that.

She is lucky that I didn't kill her. I try to keep my anger in check and turn towards to Remi.

"What do you think you are doing?" I ask masking my anger with a neutral tone.

"I should be the one asking the question. Why did you ruin my one-night stand for the day?"

My heart stops beating for a second before it revives back. I am very aware of Remi's sex life and I had to endure it for years.
