To new friendships

Here is my another attempt to a incident which we know happened but didnt get to read.

SILVER

The sound of rain pouring down and the earthy odour washes over me bringing a calmness with it.

I look around myself to bask in the renowed Meet Up. Ever since Aiden and Elsa had officially started seeing each other putting their past behind Elsa has been doing little changes to the Meet up.

The cottage always was warm and cosy. Elsa's indoor plants and polaroid decoration adds more personal feel to it.

"Dont spoil the fun" Astrid shakes her head at Teal making me snap out of my trance.

The girls are seated around a small table and there are atleast six bottles of alcohol and five glasses.

"What fun are we talking about?" I ask them having no clue about the conversation they had while I was looking at the pictures. 

"Astrid wants us to have a drinking competition but Teal disagrees" Kim says  pouring alcohol into the glasses.

Teal glares at the top of her head like it might stop Kim but my childhood best friend acts like she didnt feel the heat of Teal's eyes.

Elsa sighs and put a hand on her foster sister's arm and says "Please".

Teal reluctantly agrees and every eyes turns on me. I stand there contemplating my answer when Astrid pulls me down in between her and Kim.

Having a girls night is not a bad idea, however involving drinks sounds bad enough.

My parents are back together unofficially and I am more than happy. But I am still trying to come out of the bitch facade I have so conveniently put on for the last seven years.

Kim forgave me and we are starting from where we left years ago. Teal and I had a good connection since we met. Astrid and I never had a problem so it was easy to befriend her.
