Sebastian glanced at Kamryn, then back at Hellfire, noticing the tension building between them. Both were locked in a menacing stare, as if preparing for a battle that hadn't even started yet.
"Uhm... Helloo...?" Sebastian waved his hand awkwardly in front of Kamryn's face, trying to ease the standoff. Kamryn didn't even flinch, his intense gaze fixed on Hellfire.
When Sebastian waved his hand again, Kamryn suddenly slapped it away without breaking eye contact.
"OW-!! Shit!" Sebastian exclaimed, shaking his hand in pain.
Kamryn's expression remained unbothered, his entire focus on Hellfire. He didn't acknowledge Sebastian's outburst; his muscles were tense, ready for anything. He was clearly prepared to attack at the slightest provocation.
Sebastian rubbed his hand and muttered, "Okay, okay, touchy..."
The silence stretched uncomfortably, the air thick with impending conflict. Hellfire's eyes narrowed further, her sharp features practically radiating power and frustration.
Then, without warning, she broke the silence, her voice low and dangerous.
"So, you really think you can just march into my dimension and challenge me?" Her lips curled into a twisted smirk. "I don't know whether to be amused... or insulted."
Kamryn clenched his fists, his fingers twitching toward his weapons. "We're not here for games, Hellfire. We've got business to settle."
Sebastian glanced nervously between them, feeling the weight of the confrontation escalating. "Uh... guys, maybe we can talk this out? You know... no need to start throwing curses and laser beams..."
Hellfire's eyes flicked toward Sebastian for a moment, a dismissive smirk on her face, before returning to Kamryn. "Stay out of this, witch boy. You're way out of your depth."
Sebastian gulped. "Noted."
The standoff continued, electric tension filling the air as Hellfire floated down closer to the ground, her hands flickering with dark energy.
Sebastian, sensing that things were getting dangerously close to exploding, jumped in between Kamryn and Hellfire before either could make a move. His hands were raised in a mix of panic and determination.
"Okay, okay, hold up! We don't need to start blasting each other just yet. Let's... uh... talk, maybe?" He gave a nervous smile, looking between Kamryn, who was practically seething, and Hellfire, who looked mildly amused.
Kamryn growled, his eyes narrowing. "Sebastian, move. She's not going to 'talk.' We didn't come here to have a tea party."
Hellfire crossed her arms, floating slightly above the ground with an air of superiority. "Oh, I don't know, Kamryn. Maybe your little witch friend has a point." She tilted her head, a mocking grin spreading across her face. "I could use some entertainment before I destroy you."
Sebastian winced but quickly recovered. "Right, entertainment. Like, uh... a chat instead of a fight. Who knows? Maybe we can figure something out that doesn't involve, you know, trying to kill each other."
Kamryn's fists were still clenched, but he hesitated. "Sebastian, I swear, if this backfires..."
Hellfire's glowing eyes flicked toward Kamryn, her smirk never wavering. "Afraid of a little conversation, Kamryn? I thought you were more... courageous."
Kamryn gritted his teeth. "I'm not afraid of anything, least of all you."
Sebastian jumped in again, trying to keep the situation from boiling over. "Exactly! So, why not humor me for a bit? We can sit down, talk, figure out what each of us actually wants without... you know, total destruction."
