Wukong's P.O.V
(Flashback)

It was a time before everything became chaotic, and we drifted apart.

I smiled as I watched Y/n from behind a tree, watching as she laid on Flower Fruit Mountain's beach, gazing at the stars and the moon.

I loved seeing her look so peaceful.

The way the moonlight reflected off of her made her shine brighter than a diamond.

I started to scurry closer, but froze when I saw her ears twitch.

"Wukong, if you want to stargaze with me, you can." Y/n's voice spoke.

I lay down beside her as we lay in silence.

While Y/n continued to watch the sky, I kept looking at her with a loving gaze.

Y/n, my moonlight that I bask in every time you're around, you are the best mate that I've been blessed with.

(Flashback over)

I looked at the sky of the Celestial Realm.

It was nighttime at the moment, but I couldn't help but long for my moonlight.

I continued forward before I stopped in my tracks.

"I swear. I swear I will make it right. Even if you still hate me." I told myself, trying to ignore this nagging feeling in my chest.

Maybe it wouldn't hurt to check on her.

With astral projection, of course.

I focused as a holographic version of myself, which appeared in front of a very sick looking Y/n laying in her bed.

"Moonlight..." I whispered softly.

"Huh, who's there?" Y/n groans, was she struggles to sit up in her bed.

I froze but quickly sighed in relief when I realized I made it to where she couldn't see me in my astral projection form.

"Ugh, it's probably nothing." Y/n groans as she lays back down.

I watched as her cat Sprocket curled up beside her.

Now that I've gotten a better look at her, she looked terrible.

Her fur was all matted and tangled. There were bags under her eyes, and she was sweating up a storm.

By the looks of it, she's been feeling like this for a few days, and why didn't I know?

I mean, how could I know? I'm an a##-hole.

I don't like seeing her like this, I wish I could take care of her. She looks like she's in so much pain.

Ugh, I know I should be focusing on the map right now, but I can't help watching my moonlight be in so much pain.

You know what, the map can wait a little while longer.

I need to help my moonlight.

Leaving astral projection, I quickly summouned my cloud and made my way back to the mortal realm.

Once I had found Y/n's home, which was a dojo with a kitchen attached to it, and a bedroom and bathroom upstairs, I noticed a few of Y/n's shadow clones were walking around the place, looking like they were trying to get stuff together to make Y/n feel better.

An idea popped into my head.

I plucked a few of my hairs out and made myself look like one of her shadow clones.
