Y/n's P.O.V
It's currently been about 3, almost 4 months since Spider Queen attacked the city, and 1 month since I had a really bad fever.I don't know how I got sick. It's quite impossible for me to get sick. The only thing I can think of is that the Lady Bone Demon did something to me when she pulled me off to the side during Spider Queen's attack.
I hate the woman. Just the thought of her makes my skin crawl, and my bones shiver from the cold presence she gives off.
I still have one little problem. I'm still slightly sick. What I mean by that is that I throw up now and then, and I'm constantly hungry for 5 helpings of noodles every hour of the day, and at night, my body wants more food.
I don't know what's going on, but frankly, I don't care. Today is the day I have to warn MK of The Lady Bone Demon's plan, and at least try to help him and regain some of the trust I lost with him.
Even though the method I'm about to use is the same method my male counterpart used in the show.
Yeah, I know, I'm already ashamed of myself.
But can you think of any other plan better?
I can't talk to MK alone because one of his friends are always around, and if they see me, I will get attacked on sight.
So, I'm still going to trap MK's friends in my lantern, but I'm not going to torture him with his friends' shadows, unlike what my male counterpart did.
I just need to get the kid alone for a while so I can get the chance to talk to him without any interruptions, and I have to take the chance.
"Sprocket, have you seen my cloak and lantern?" I searched all throughout my dojo.
Sprocket meowed, gaining my attention.
I turned around to see Sprocket rolling around him my cloak while he bumped into my lantern.
I chuckled, untangling him from my cloak and picking up my lantern.
"Silly kitty, but this is my stuff. If you want something to roll around in, try my blanket upstairs. It's way more comfortable than this thing." I out my cloak on and pulled the hood over my face, my lantern in my hand.
I walked to the front door as Sprocket watched me.
"Be good, buddy. I'm going to be busy for a while, so don't knock the cups down from the cabinets while I'm gone." I exit my dojo, going to my theater that's across the street.
______________________________________When I entered my theater, I greeted Linda, and she responded with an incoherent grumble.
I made my way backstage, preparing for my performance.
"Okay, Y/n. You got this, breathe. You've done this so many times already." I took a deep breath and let it out.
I peeked out from behind the curtains, seeing the audience I was expecting.
There were MK, Mei, Pigsy, and Tang.
And unfortunately, the Not Mayor.
I'm putting up a banned list after this, I don't know why I haven't yet.
I know I usually bring in a big audience, but I had to make sure it was just MK and his friends today.
The Not Mayor wasn't invited, though.
I used my powers to dim the lights, my lantern glowing and floating in one hand while the curtains opened to reveal me in my cloak.
I smirked from under my cloak, shifting the shadows on the stages wall. "Welcome viewers to a shadow play the likes of which have never been seen! It follows the tragic tale of a legendary warrior and how those who bring light into this world inevitability bring darkness to those they hold dear."
