Jade drove to the restaurant and parked her car. She sprayed on some perfume and started to hype herself up. Getting out of her car, she walks towards the restaurant. She waits in the lobby and waits patiently. She texts Kate that she's here waiting in the lobby but it gets left of read. Jade sighs frustrated and waits about another 10 minutes. Kate rushes into the restaurant with flowers in hand.
"Sorry, I was grabbing these for you," Kate said nervously handing the bouquet to Jade.
They were just roses nothing special in particular but she hated that she had to wait because of roses though Jade appreciated the offer. Texting her a heads-up would've been nice instead of waiting.
"You look amazing by the way," Kate said with a smile.
"Thank you. You as well..." Jade said, looking at Kate's attire which was jeans and a top.
"Shall we," Kate said taking ahold of her arm.
"We shall," Jade said.
The two sat at a table and Kate ordered two glasses of wine. They started to chat and talk about what they wanted for relationships and what they were looking for. Light flirting and Kate ended up ordering for the both of them which Jade didn't like much since it wasn't really what she wanted but she didn't say anything. When the check came Kate paid but barely left anything left to tip. So Jade left a 50 for the waiter since she very much gave great service and Kate was being quite needy which Jade didn't expect. She was never like that when they dated. Kate took ahold of Jade's hand as they walked to her car. For some reason, it didn't feel right. They made it to Jade's car and stopped. Kate looked into Jade's eyes and smiled.
"I had a great time," Kate said.
"I did as well." Jade lied.
She didn't have a great time and it wasn't what she expected at all. Kate then moved a hair behind Jade's ear.
"You're so beautiful," Kate whispered, and before Jade could say anything Kate pressed her lips onto hers.
I was nice but there wasn't passion. There wasn't anything that made Jade's heart flutter when they kissed.
Kate looked at Jade deeply.
"I want you to be my girlfriend. I've been thinking about you like crazy and I want us to take it to the next level." Kate said caressing Jade's cheeks.
"Kate..." Jade softly.
"But if we do start dating. You would have to move out of that dorm and not talk to Ellie. She's nothing but trouble anyways and I wouldn't have to see her stupid face whenever we hang out at your place." Kate said.
"I'm sorry what," Jade said taking a step back.
"What, it's not like you guys are friends or anything and she has a girlfriend so what's the issue," Kate said tilting her head slightly.
"The issue is you telling me who I can and can't talk to and wanting me to move out, to where. All the dorms are full." Jade said raising a brow.
"Oh, I could get us a condo if money is what you're worried about. I just don't like how Ellie is with you and if we are in a relationship wouldn't you not want to hang out with the person who causes us so much drama." Kate said.
"I don't like how you're talking to me like I'm a charity case that can't afford anything and again I don't like you doing the pick me or her situation as well. You don't have to worry about Ellie..." Jade said.
"I don't know if you are just blind or completely stupid," Kate grunted.
"Excuse me?!" Jade raised her voice.
